I used to have one of those trim-line striping business way back then (early 80's). Sold it after I left the org. to some guy who wasn't a witness. They were almost pissed off that it was sold to a non JW. Still to this day I do lettering and signs, but not the striping part. I almost got in the cleaning business but that was way too boring for me. The striping was really fun and paid well.

Going back to school. Need acceptance.

i had referrals, but due situations, i did not have any professional endorsements.
so finally after being told to update my references, i went back to the drawing board and found my dean from my bs degree.

My son wants reinstatement...but will then fade fast
by oompa inhe is considering this just so he can have more normal ties with old friends and mainly family....he hates not being invited to the big superbowl party his moms family has ever year...so sad....i told him i would support his efforts but cautioned him about his plan to never return once he is reinstated and that some would still then shun him, and that it would for sure allert the nazi elders to watch him very closely....and that he prob should move somewhere because he will continue to live his life as he wants to...and love that, except for the smoking....hell he even got me to try some pot (it did not agree with me).....we are closer than ever now........oompa.

maybe your wife needs to understand the true meaning of the bible. Ask her if she understands that you have last word in decisions and that she has to respect your authority (throw in a couple of verses here for emphasis..hehe), then tell her you're throwing a super bowl party and she has to smile and be happy while she serves your guests, son included. If she wants to play bible wifey, well then there's consequences to that.

my df bro in law tells friends his family is all dead..instead of jw
by oompa inhe is the oldest of five kids...all dubs...he was kicked out at 16...and shunned badly for 35 years or so by his family, but never me btw...and he still is.
so he was smart enough to move out of state and start over....and has had a great life....but 20 years ago he told me something i have never forgotten...he said that as he made new friends and tried to explain this totally flucked up shunning thing...that it always went kinda odd....so he just started telling everyone his entire family was dead....i never forgot the moment he said that......................oompa.

good idea..since I'm dead to them why not just say they're all dead. avoids having to try and explain things that don't make sense anyway, especially the shunning and having been a witness..I don't go there anymore..

ravyn's experience with sra (satanic ritual abuse) was instantly rejected by so many.
it was as though people pre-judicated her story before she had a chance to tell it.

So is she the girl in the Stern frontpage picture, or does she claim to be the model used for the WT drawing, which would be incorrect since the drawing obviously is copied from the magazine.
