I find it to be extremely rude for them to treat you this way. Especially since you knew them. You should have gone with your desire to make the goat noises. Idiots like that deserve it.

Irony just came to my door
by twinkle toes ini was just downloading the 1969 awake article that proclaims the end is giong to be in a few years and youth should expect to not grow old.
as i was reading it i was reflecting on all the people who are around my age (mid 30's) who were not even born when this article came out.. then my dog started barking.
i looked out the window and seen a mini van group full of 30 something jdubs preparing to call on me.

Did You Ever Tell Someone They Smelled?
by minimus ini was "assigned" by the body of elders to talk to a pioneer/ministerial servant about his b o. he didn't have a car and so was always put in someone's car group.
everyone complained about having to take him.. when i talked to him about his stink, he got very very offended and copped an attitude.
i finally told him that unless he started bathing and washing his disgusting oily hair, he would be removed from his assignments.....what i never understood is how anybody could be told that they actually smelled and yet get pissed off with me!.

I did'nt tell the person but really wanted to. He was the sweetest brother but he stunk to high heaven. The poor thing died 5 years ago from a heart attack.

the crescent hotel in eureka springs is only an hour and a half from here.

I've been in the Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs. It was kinda spooky. In fact I'll be going back to E Springs in Oct. and might just pay it another visit.

probably 1500 applications/resumes online and in person.. it is not a great job - flippin' burgers - and the distance is a bit more than we wanted for her to drive - but we are thankful!
they mentioned possible management in the interview - so perhaps it can grow over time.. anyway - it will help keep the wolves off the doors.
