  No more Faithful and Discreet Slave?

  soon when the unthinkable happens,that is,when there is no more faithful and discreet slave.

  (according to the society).it will leave them without anyone capable of receiving "new light".will the watchtower have to disband when this happens?.

  Those claiming to be are a power hungry bunch, they are only slave to money and power nothing more nothing less.

  my kids were 16 and 15 when we left, they are 21 & 20 this year, still living at home and we get on fine-ish.

  i have apologized to my son for the way i scolded him when we were part of the collective.

  maybe not so much taught by the wts, but it is sure as hell accepted or expected.

  Now, the likelyhood that you'll ever go off following some cult, or the teaching of a man, or be lulled by some Pied Piper is very small in your particular case. It's serving sort of like an innoculation against a deadly disease. But see, you've had it before and you can't get it again.

  Very good metaphore! This is exactly what I have experienced, you recognize cultic behaviour and propaganda tricks head-on because we have seen through the tricks. Like seeing the magician's trick and never being able again to be fooled by it. Got to remember this one!

  I AM SO SAD!!!!

  ok i am very sad and very down at this point.

  i have not been on talking of anything deep because i have been working on a project to post on the net (hopefully at jourles site) about wt hypocrisy and hope also to get something at least a pebble size stone to throw at the wtbs on their pedophile policies.

  i know so many elders here where i live who supported and hid the transgressions of pedophiles.

  My response may be a little late but I still want to say a few things.

  The reply that it is not your concern anymore as you are DF is sick! It is one of those catch 22 phrases:

  If you are a JW and you speak up you are DF'ed and then it does not concern you anymore? If you have been in prison while innocent after you are released it doesn't concern you anymore? Twisted logic, that is!

  I don’t really care about my job as much as I care about all the people I have known for over 15 years as a JW. In so many ways now I feel free and wish others to feel this way too.

  This clearly shows your actions are from love not revenge. You do not set their hall on fire or trow stones in. You are trying to show them the error of their ways. Warning people is a loving act, because if you wouldn't care then you would say: "hey,it is no longer of my concern" instead you care!

  U_R you have a good hart, use it as you see fit!

  i was talking to a witness who is still in and she said they gave a talk at the hall, about submissive wives and were told that if the husband wants to go somewhere for the holiday and the wife want to go somewhere else she will need to be respectful and do what the husband wants.

  and she can go on her prefered choice of holiday the following year...... .

  the husband is to make all major decisions such as where they will .

  I find it a good thing that they have not restricted this kind of garbage to the litterature, but also put it on their website. Now the whole world can see how they think about it. Any slightly interested female will suf their web and go like: WHAT? NOT a good witness I would say.

  my father is in the hospital, and the man in the room with him has gangreen on one of his feet.

  now, the first time i saw him, he had 5 toes, two of which were black as coal.

  What girls really want seem to be very simple things. To most looks are unimportant to a certain extent.

  What matters most to me is that we are able to communicate at about the same level. We don't have to like the same stuff, we don't have to agree on everything (makes it more interesting anyway). difference is the spice of life.
