i took my son to the doctor and she decided he needs surgery.

the surgery scheduler was asking me some pre-op questions and popped up with, "are you a jehovah's witness?

" i blurted out, "hell no!

The floodgates have opened

i posted elsewhere that i decided to contact a non-witness friend i cut ties with because she spoke ill of the society.

well, through her i was contacted by another former jw friend of mine.

turns out, we both thought we hated the other person, but turns out it wasn't true on either side.

Hello, I'm new...

i just joined this forum today after reading the comments on today's watchtower (which i have to attend in about an hour unfortunately).

i was raised in "the truth" and it was only recently that i began to listen to a close friend of mine as he pointed out the secrets and lies that is the watchtower society and governing body.

even though he was informing me for almost a year, he never gave up on me.

when is armageddon coming at the moment ?

when i used to go there was a spoecial campain because it was so close , what happens now is it still any minute now or is there talk along the lines of that it may not happen for quite sometime yet ?

has anyone ever said at a talk that it may not happen in our lifetime ?

has anyone who is still in ever heard anyone question it coming very soon, considering the golden oldies must of being saying that all of their lives
