Small Steps

just to let you all know how my extremely gradual fade is going.

you have to remember that i have spent all my life right in the centre of the congregation, i never missed meetings, except when necessary.

my service average has been between 10 -15 hrs per month and i would spend vacations auxillary pioneering.

Its always a hard thing to do, and I imagine when your a servant its even tougher just for the reason you mention. They

want to know why and try to convince you other wise. You've made a start it will take time....

I really feel for you business wise, I had several jw employee's at one time. Eventually the less and less we went then they also

decided to quit. Which really in the end worked out well. I only hire non jw's now.

Removed and Dissolved?

in the past i've heard of whole bodies of elders being removed/df'd and entire congregations being dissolved.

anyone know any verifiable account of this happening - details please!.

There was a congregation in Ontario, perhaps bumble bee or mouthy will recall, some where near Sarnia/kitchner area I think.

A young sister was murdered and it was covered up for many years. Finally when it came out that a brother had killed her

the congregation was disbanded it was too much for the town to bear.....

Do You Use Your Cellphone At All While Driving?

in nyc, there's a crackdown on anyone that drives while using a hand held phone.

they say it's dangerous to have only one hand on the wheel.

i wonder if drive thru establishments like mcdonald's and dunkin donuts will be next..

Have You Had A "Superconscious" Experience?

according to some, we humans have a conscious mind, a subconscious mind and , perhaps, a superconscious mind.

it might be otherwise called the "higher self".. i read up on this subject years ago because i occasionally have experiences that suggest that some vastly more clever intelligence helps me (whenever it feels so inclined!)..

i can remember getting into trouble at work and , out of nowhere, coming up with some split second insight that saved me - so much so, that i had to ask myself, "where did that come from?".
