)...in a high school auditorium...so i see bonnzo in the crowd and texted him during the service that i could see him, and i was so hoping he had not put his cell on vibrate, but he had....darn it.
so my mind was wandering, and i have been wondering what it would take for me to get any of my faith back (i'm agnostic now)...and this scripture pops in my head: .

I agree, Ooomp... if God was "stretching" your "patience factor" for a reason, I would think 40 years is plenty enough! That puts you right up there with Moses in the backside of the wilderness for 40 years (BEFORE he was ever sent to Pharoah).

Well, it was when Moses-Jeremiah-David-Matthew-Mark, etc.,, et al, wrote it, as they were inspired by Holy Spirit.
As for Jesus being the Word, that is one of His names, THE WORD OF GOD (Rev. 19, I think, too tired to look for references now). So he is The Communicator with mankind, always has been from the Beginning (John 1:1), even the author behind the original scriptures/manuscripts, including all the prophecies about Himself.
I never said current Bibles are flawless, but HE CAN MAKE THEM FLAWLESS to the one reading them via the Holy Spirit. In other words, the Word of God (Jesus) can use any man-translated-handed-down manuscript-to-modern Bible and still help the sincere hearted see the Truth in it ABOUT HIM, no matter what men, wicked, naive, or otherwise, have done to it.
Only the original manuscripts were inerrant. That is what most churches believe, and so do I. Check some "Statements of Faith" on church websites.

As "The Word of God" He authored the written Word, as it was breathed into the ORIGINAL writers by the Holy Spirit at His direction.
The = sign, yes, Jesus is equal to the WORD. It is His name, THE WORD OF GOD.

The 1957 book, "10,000 FAMOUS FREEMASONS" does not include Charles Taze Russell, though it has just a few other Russells. Maybe C.T. just wasn't "Famous" enough.

Look what they have done to the precious Cross of Jesus Christ! How dare they take it and turn it into a phallic symbol. Furthermore, how dare they take the precious Crown of Jesus Christ and turn it into a phallic symbol? Actually, the Cross was made to be representative of the entire Sex Act -- heterosexual intercourse -- by pretending the perpendicular staff to be the phallus and the horizontal bar be the female sex organ!
One side issue that this quote settles is that this official Masonic publication, printed in contemporary times, 1976, quotes Albert Pike as an authority. We have had many emails from Masons claiming that Albert Pike had been discredited by contemporary Masonry, and even some email suggesting that a "rogue" Albert Pike wrote Morals and Dogma and Magnum Opus . We can now see that this is simply a lie designed to try to confuse.
Surely, you can now see that Freemasonry is most definitely NOT Christian. Secondly, you can see that Masonry is truly "identical to the Mysteries".
