  New announcement at this weeks midweek meeting?

  the congregation i'm from is having their meeting tonight.

  my husband said that his brother in law, who is an elder, called and said that there were going to be some big announcements tonight and to bring a notepad, because you will want to take notes.. does anybody know about this and what are the announcements?

  JW apologist Emeth dismisses teachings of Russell as irrelevant, uninspired and even funny.. Maybe in the future jw's will say the same about todays Governing Body?

  sadly its not as easy as light heartedly saying "oh thats old light we dont worry about all that old stuff anymore!" there is a far bigger picture of the appointment of a master inspecting the slave and finding that the slave is supporting apostacy in which they were teaching and have been teaching for a 130 odd years, its a very serious matter!

  i am currently on a business trip for a trade show in another city.

  as i'm walking to the convention center, i run into 2 jw's preaching.

  one is about mid 60s the other probably mid 30's.

  the old aritifacts and objects that could be possessed are really old ones and the stories are endless ,true story from my old man who was studying with a man who had mental health issues and one day he told my father that he had some books on black magic and spiritism so my father told him that he would take them away and dispose of them, but he said everytime he went to throw them away an obstacle stopped him doing so weather a trash area was locked or the local recycling area was full up, he eventually trashed them

  the brother visiting China on buissness who was seen with a tract hanging out of his back pocket, he went about his buissness without any problems and as he was checking in on his return home a Chineses brother walks up to him and says we were watching you for your entire trip as you could have have been in danger!
