  A not so loving phone call....

  i recently got a letter in my pillar box asking me to attend a meeting at the k.h.

  i ignored the " kind" request.. this was folloed up by a " loving" phone call with the question " do i believe in the organisation" my reply.

  " anyway what pissed me off was during the " loving" phone call i realized there was another " brother" listning in.

  yesterday heard a story from the North of England about a family all in good standing (!) where the father has been having an incestuous relationship with his teenage daughter and she has had his baby! the mother and another daughter have attempted suicide yet the entire family all still serve in the same cong.

  i haven't been to a meeting in over a year, and as you know as soon as you stop attending meetings/fieldservice the "conditional" love becomes more apperant.

  the coordinating elder starts off by saying how much he loves and misses me, etc.

  i ask him, when was the last time you called or texted me?

  the recent topics addressing the shamefully bigoted talk by jw gb member, anthony morris, on the subject of homosexuality got me thinking.

  what the heck is up with the gb's obsession with this subject?.

  as far as i can determine, jesus never said a single thing in reference to homosexuality.

  i was once counseled for not shaving after two days.

  i was also counseled by a sister for eating lucky charms cereal.

  as a born-in, i was eager to join the ministry school.

  my cousins were also born-in but lived in different states.

  there was keen competition to see who could do mature things, such as baptism (my mom said when i was 35) and ministry school.

  I've never seen anyone cry up on the platform!, its an absolute fallacy that the TMS makes people wonderful public speakers, all of the very worst public speakers I've ever heard have all been JW's with decades of experience, with the tiny exception of a the odd flamboyant DO or CO, David Carter was a good speaker

  i heard a rumour that the uk hq is moving from mill hill in london to a location in essex near chelmsford.

  explanation being that it's closer to the transport networks.
