If JWs Were More Tolerant Would It Help Their Money Woes?
by minimus inthey don't want you bettering yourself.
they hate college education.they applaud you if you quit full time secular work and instead, "pioneer".
they cry that they have money problems.

agree with the OP, but since when have they done anything in their entire history that showed common sense and logic? they only thing I can really think of is the reduction in meetings and pioneer hours and only because it was forced on them, they stay obsessed by their "persecution complex" and seem to love doing so. -

Any funny stories of when a"brother" giving a talk, said something "funny" or "questionable", and didn't even realize it?
by Dunedain inthere were always all types of speakers in the org.
myself, growing up a "witness", must have heard all types of talks, and given by all manner of speakers, especially on sundays, when almost every week we would get a "visiting" brother giving the public talk.. sometimes, you would have a "great" speaker, all fluent and animated.
other times we would get a comical speaker, one who would maybe purposelly get a few laughs outta the audience.

we had another brother who seemed to be numerically dyslexic is there is such an affliction , he was an MS and for some strange reason was often given the role to give the announcements in the SM, first the KH accounts , if there was say £500 in the bank he's say there was £5000, the 144.000 was often called the 14,000, and if he had to reel off figures on the world wide report of a country having 6000 pubs he's say they had 60,000 pubs I think the UK had 400.000 pubs at one stage, I think the BoE's used to give him the announcements on purpose -

Special Pioneer Couple Living at a Kingdom Hall In Miami FL, get the dreaded Letter
by James Jack injust got a phone call from an older sister saying that a couple that got re-assigned from bethel 4 years ago to live at their kh apartment as special pioneers, just received a letter saying "as of january 2016, your special pioneer assignment will be discontinued".. they live in a south miami kh(snapper creek congregation).. this couple had only served in bethel for 15 years before they were sent out into the special pioneer work.
they are now in their mid 50's and the sister said that they have to find part time jobs to support themselves.. the older sister (does not have a pc or internet), says that the couple are just devastated!

Lets start a "Go Fund Me" for those special pioneers being kicked to the curb by the GB,.
by notjustyet inlots of great potential to help those sp that are being sent off without any financial help from the wtbts.
i think that it would be a great way to get some exposure on this topic and how the wtbts thats those that dedicated their lives to the wtbts only to be sent packing at a late age.
then someone can take the funds to one sp couple, possibly, and give it to them in honor of the apostates that know what is really happening.

no chance in hell I'd give to these idiots, it would probably go to the court case pay outs of child sexual abuse. -

for a while there was a lot of inter congregational football matches being played across the circuit and the county they even spread across most parts of the country at times and were taken very seriously, it got to the stage the results of the matches started to be announced in the Service Meeting in a cong of a friend of mine , naturally a new CO put a stop to this, imagine the speaker making these announcements " brothers and sisters the recent inter congregational football results ;
Farnham 3 Camberley 1
Wimbledon 5 Woking 2
Guildford 4 Petersfield 2
Bracknell 6 Maidenhead 3
and thats all the football results tonight brothers , now for the next item on the service meeting.

after the 1987 great storm which was the very worst England had ever seen the public speaker the following Sunday said; "haven't we be having some wonderful weather lately", bear in mind quite a few people were killed in this storm.
