David I dont really have the inclination nor do I really care why Marc( you're him aren't you LOL) has taken this stance, I was a member of the ukexjw FB page in which he( you) was an "admin" I posted some very innocent memes and he(you) quickly removed them, so clearly showing his(your) true colours which I found childish, stupid and an overreaction so I promptly removed myself from the group, but I am entitled to make an objective decision in all this mess, and my summary is that you Mike and Kim and others have jumped on this "attack Cedars Bandwagon" which I equally find childish and irrelevant,and the common denominator is that you are all exjw's that have embraced evangelical Christianity, a toxic mix which I dont mind speaking about, another thing is that you all show this same persecution complex that jw's do, its like you haven't left the WTS at all, in fact why dont you go back to them? you never hear much of exjw atheists attacking their fellow exjw atheists in this way. I really dont have much to say on this matter TBH.

Cofty; it was an interesting few months in the time I spent under RT's radar, their office in Morden was very close to where I lived so I would pop in there for a couple of hours a time, purchase books etc and chat with Doug and Derek but as soon as it became obvious I was to have nothing to do with their form of christianity I was dropped like a hot brick and at a time when I was hoping for friendship and support I found this very confusing, the issue I found was that RT a counter cult minstry became a cult within a counter cult group, Doug was very bright, charismatic, good speaker and they were morphing yet didn't realise it, the one disturbing thing I found out personally though was that they had left my personal details with some pastors of churches in the London area(so called experts in reaching out to jw's , they were'nt at all and were not even exjw's) and I started to be called at times that were very awkward and unexpected ( the time before mobile phones and internet) and bear in mind I was in a crumbling marriage to a jw this really heightened her paranoia ( she was suffering from mental health issues as well) I found this completely unacceptable but not "out of the blue" in the way they operated, I in time dropped them like a hot brick and I didn't regret it

David I dont follow anyone , I came off the UKexjw group on FB because of the petty stupidity, I'll tune into Cedars jwsurvey about once every couple of months, I have no idea what the latest news is on his blog, nor am I particularity interested, I'm particularly concerned and urge others to be also when getting involved with exjw groups that profess to be evangelical Christians, they still show the same amount of hatred, are just as judgemental when they were as jw's and I'm astounded by the agenda driven obsession and blatant hypocrisy that Mike and Kim exibit and warn others of it, if I'm permitted to do so? You know nothing about me David I've been out of the WTS for over 20 years and encountered similar treatment when I was closely involved with Reachout Trust, I and others were branded as bad associates almost ostracised and excluded from any of their activities because we dared to disagree and question their brand and style of outreach work, Doug Harris even condemned a good friend of mine to hell fire because he dared to disagree with him this was over 20 years ago, I'm concerned and wonder why Marc Latham has started to get on this Mike and Kim bandwagon as well, I'm probably getting too old for all this bickering and will likely walk away from it soon, social media/blogs and forums, I have done before. -

Oubliette, there haven't been many advocating some sort of illegal activity in regards to the copyright of Rays books at all, you are looking at a mere tiny handful , the majority of us have expressed disbelief, frustration in regards to the availability of the books , and there has been an agenda driven reason these threads have appeared on here today and the copyright issue is a secondary one, you couldn't make this stuff up!
