JW Answers , isnt it a bit easier if you can briefly explain this belief you have rather than watch the video?

Who is the Saviour?
by JW Answers inthis is for those who are interested in bible study.. the jehovah's witnesses claim that only the father is god, and thus teach he was the saviour in the old testament.
the bible teaches that god says "there is no saviour beside me".
therefore how is it, that the lord jesus christ is called the saviour of the world?.

The ineffectiveness of the Watchtower Society preaching work
by RULES & REGULATIONS inhow can the watchtower society claim effectiveness in their 140 years of preaching the ''good news''..... spending billions of hours in ''field service'', having the ''faithful and discreet slave'' lead the preaching work, passing out billions of watchtower literature since the 1870's, while the pentecostals have been more effective using other evangelical methods?

I always use the analogy of if one had the chance to conduct a survey in any large city/capital of any country in the Western world where they have been successful over the decades in regards to growth in these particular countries and conduct a survey with members of the general public at say very busy train stations, shopping areas, airports, sporting events etc and ask one simple question to these hoards of people;" can you explain the kingdom of god that the Jehovah's witnesses have been commissioned to preach to the earth?" I guarantee that 99.9999999999% of any of those that answer wont have the foggiest idea, sums it up really.

any updates on this project, is it still full steam ahead for a glorified expensive accommodation centre?

Universal Sovereignty
by incognito2014 ini always thought this was nonsense, just an excuse for why there’s suffering.. but just assuming there really is this very long period of human history to allow god to prove his sovereignty.
this issue that affects every being not just on the planet but in the universe .
it’s a big deal and one that is so important that billions of people have had to suffer for 6,000 years.. .

its a most stupid scenario and even the most committed theist must see the madness of it, so basically any angel with thoughts of rebellion could go up to the creator of the universe and lay down a challenge and god just blindly accepts it? regardless of all the work he's put into creating the first couple and housing them in the Garden of Eden, surely there were masses of R&F angles shaking their heads in disbelief? the so called "vindication of gods name" which is meant to be what this dick waving competition is all about makes the credibility and wondrous loving nature of god even more repugnant to me, a stupid, irresponsible, petty, angry, vindictive, sick, perverted, blood thirsty, voyeuristic deity and I'm even more convicted in my vision/thoughts of her/him.

I remember when this was built, it even seemed ridiculous at the time the mid 1980's I think, a vanity project to reinforce the view of great expansion, gods blessing, speeding up the work etc, really quite pathetic and many many more will follow, how low are they sinking? without a trace I believe.

Do Jehovah’s Witnesses Ever Do Anything For Anyone But Themselves?
by minimus ini was thinking of how witnesses were always admonished to take care of their own before they should ever help a worldly neighbor.
i don’t think they ever do anything for the community unless it’s a benefit to them..

Discontinue unproductive bible study - jw broadcasting
by Gorbatchov inhttps://tv.jw.org/#en/mediaitems/latestvideos/pub-ism_2_video.
interesting video explaining how to end a bible study.. watch the kind of uber behaviour of the witnesses: make a choice or we leave.... so hard, so not christian.
no love for the person.. g..

how about the futility of continuing RV's when every single time you asked the HH if they enjoyed the last editions of the WT and Asleep rag only for them to say "NO" but we returned to give them the newest rags thus repeating the same pointless scenario month after month, year after year,I bet it still goes on

"This system will probably be over in about 5 years"
by john.prestor ini don't think i shared this story yet, it's strange and although i did a little detective work trying to figure out who said what and when i never found out much, big surprise, jehovah's witnesses love their secrets as we all know... but i thought other posters might find this interesting both in and of itself, because of what an elder told me one sunday back in 2011, and because of what it could imply as to high-ranking jehovah's witnesses prophesying the date of armageddon.
specific dates went out the window in 1975, although governing body helper ken flodin hinted at 2040 in a talk uploaded to jw.org a couple years back, and the governing body hinted at 2034 in a watchtower back in the 90s.
but it might be, just might, that more specific date-setting still goes on behind closed doors in certain circuits.... so after i went to "meetings" and talked to witnesses for a couple years at a rural congregation in the eastern united states an elder pulled me aside one service into the vestibule at the hall, in other words, into a private area where no one would overhear us.

nmnwe've heard it all ; its just around the corner, its so close you can even smell it, LOL, fools, as soon as they cry "peace and security" the end would come (1986 being the international year of peace) the creators promises to be realised before the end of the 20th century, what promises?
