  is it true that the march ministry is hinting that this year will be the last memorial, someone just said that today in the service, just wanted to confirm.. .

  for those who have been discussing co's and do's in the uk, i managed to dig up a photo from my archives of when i had a visit to bethel in june 2008. because i was an uber witness i just had to have my picture taken in front of the amazing printing presses in london.

  also, i saw a poster which listed all of the co's and do's in the uk so i just had to have a picture of it.

  i realise that the list was created in 2006, the picture was taken in 2008 and now we are in 2013, so a lot of time has past and im certain the list is totally different now, but atleast there be some names on there you will realise and remember.

  Sunday night ice skating at Richmond Ice Rink was a big event for years until they knocked it down, I think most of the guys would just stay in the bar drinking ! I never saw any fights but there was a lot of jealousy especially if a brother picked a hot sister to skate with and they'd "hold hands!"

  the 2014 yearbook is out, and i have scanned the publisher figures into a more readable format at 2013 service year report.

  i have updated some of the graphs at http://www.jwfacts.com/watchtower/statistics.php and will do the rest tonight.

  there are no real surprises, with very similar results as during the last couple of years.

  "Jehovah ALWAYS had/used an organization". How would you reply?

  in a recent meeting with elders, an argument was used to the effect that jehovah has always [= throughout history] used, or operated through, an organization; therefore, the wts must be that organization today, since god must be using one.

  naturally, i know what arguments i've used to counter that argument.

  but i'm interested in hearing yours.

  I'd ask them to name them , if they are so convinced that there was an uninterupted line of faithful christians from the 1st century to the time of Russel , and that God has always had an earthly channel then simply name them, 99.9% of JW's wont be able to, if they cant name them then there cant have ever been a "channel" on Earth for over 2000 years and then there cant be one now.

  the wt has signed an agreement subject to ... blah, blah for an 80 acre site near chelmsford in essex.

  they have just though bought new accomodation in mill hill.
