mans requirements are limited which can be satisfied with a little and tension-free endeavor..

however man attempts not only to collect but also to grab and amass everything to the excess.

somehow he feels that he can be happy only when he has in abundance whereas others have nothingwhich seems to be the thread that runs throughout the history.

I was just thinking the exact opposite, does the world really need groups that continue to spout a bigoted hate filled message in the 21st century? I cant believe it does .

hi, i just joined the board and wanted to present myself.. i'm active, in fact very active in congregation activities serving "where the need is great" in a foreign language congregation somewhere in western europe.

as a young brother, i'm seen as an example as i'm doing all a good witness should do.. i had doubts years ago but i decided just to ignore them and move to another congregation to preach more.

that worked for some years but i'm now at the exact same point.

Correlation decline JW numbers and JW broadcasting?

i read some impressive figures here about the decline of the jw numbers in 2015.. could there be a correlation between this decline and the start of jw broadcasting?.

hence, that there would be an negative impact because the gb is standing so nearby, you can experience the idiot reasoning of their doctrines sitting in your own living room?.

a clear embarrassment to them Morris and especially Lett, both shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the broadcasting section and they have rightly lessened their airtime, to think these 2 chumps may have single handedly been responsible for quite a few leaving and many not joining, they couldn't have planned it better!

its an impressive stat, it cant be denied, but they never publish stats of how many unread mags there are out there, they clearly must know because when we as jw's would return to houses where they had taken them and asked " did you get the chance to read the mags we left last time?"

how many times would the answer be NO? yet we'd say " well perhaps you would like to read these new ones?"

and the usual stupid pattern would emerge of the RV! pointless, wasteful and lazy, typical of life as a jw.

a few in London have merged and disbanded in recent years, old traditional congs that have been around since the Russell era, of course they are the fastest and biggest growing religious group on the planet though

at the same time they are undergoing a worldwide billion dollar construction project that will see 30 Tabernacles/Temples constructed, the sure sign of a group in massive decline.

not by the 2014/15 report, a clear embarrassment for them, after their decades of boasting , the celestial chariot moving at speed! maybe the CoLDS have a more accurate, realistic and honest approach in the way they report their world wide growth, and dont put a pathetic spin on everything like the WTS does, wonder what the 15/16 report will be like? they have they fall out of the ARC to deal with.

2015 Worldwide Memorial Attendance: Another Sign of Decline

jw memorial attendance last year - 2014 - was about 50,000 shy of 20 million.

some posters on this forum had confidently predicted before the 2014 memorial that attendance would hit more than 20 milion.

they were wrong.. now, in 2015, and the memorial falling on a weekend night (where attendance is historically much higher), attendance has not only failed to top 20 milion but has declined by more than 87,000 in attendance over 2014:.
