Do Circuit Overseers outrank Elders? Why can't they talk to disfellowshipped people?
by garyneal inlast sunday, our family went to the kingdom hall and i realized that this was the week that the circuit overseer was in town.
when we sat down, i noticed he came over and talked to her then he walked away i guess to talk to others.
a few minutes later, he returned to tell her that he could not talk to her because he was informed that she was disfelloshipped.

Obviously Jehovah and Christ Jesus never felt the same way about Satan as Jehovah`s Witnesses do ? or other Christians for that matter .
by smiddy3 insimply put , jehovah tolerated satan coming and going before him in the heavenly realm for six thousand years before having him cast out of heaven .. think about that, six thousand years .!
and having conversations jehovah and satan .no shunning of him in all this time .6000 years.
we have an example of that in the book of job.and elsewhere.. the same is true with jesus christ ,according to the jehovah`s witnesses he was the first born of all creation and he also obviously tolerated satan for six thousand years .their is no example of shunning their either .. jesus was tempted by satan for fourty days { why was he with him for fourty days anyway ?

what a loving god, and what a kind gift for all mankind casting down Satan and his demons to the earth, as if mankind didn't have enough problems to contend with, I think I know who the evil one really is and it isnt the guy in red with horns and a fork.

I live in London, its a very very dangerous city, we have a crime wave of moped gang robberies skyrocketing, postcode gang murders at the highest in Europe and Operation Trident dealing with black gun crime constantly ongoing, anyone liking or thinking this useless waste of space Sadiq Khan is doing a good job come and live here for a few months and come back and give me your answer, some of the teen gang murders just beggar belief, a "hit" can be put out on a young teen just because they may have made an Instagram or Snapchat comment that could have been considered disrespectful, its reality.

we had met for FS one morning and we had this particualry awful old hag in our cong who rarely came to the meetings but used to go out in the FS! I hardly knew her, my mate an elder/pioneer assigned me to work with her and I noticed a subtle grin as he paired us up, well it started bad and continued to get worse as the morning progressed, she was rude, arrogant, wouldn't take no as an answer, a real "foot in the door" merchant, an awful woman, I couldn't wait for the hour to finish quick enough, we had a laugh after about it though.

Destruction to start from “God’s House”
by Ireneus inhere is the greatest irony: people proclaiming the destruction of others are the first ones to experience destruction, foretaste of which is already experienced in the form of shrinking glory, finance and confidence!.
babel means confusion, hence babylon the great means a great nation of confusing doctrines.
this nation is “intoxicated” and “drunk with the blood of god’s holy ones.” (revelation 17:2, 6) the greatest intoxication of christendom and its heartland jehovah’s witnesses is with their own claim of having monopoly on truth and thus treating rest of the mankind as pagan, a concept that kills everything god’s holy ones stood for (mathew 7:12).

Circuit Assembly Experiences
by Tallon inmany years ago, in the congregation i attended at the time, there was a brother who had endured bad health over many years.
as result he underwent a number of operations - a couple being life saving operations.
at one or two circuit assemblies he was interviewed on the platform where he related how he endured ill health.. for me, i felt very uncomfortable listening to his experience and, i actually felt embarrassed for him because i have never been one to speak of any health issues i had, let alone publicise it from the platform.

ShirleyW , I never quite knew the reason that these blocks were put under her chair to make it higher, maybe she wanted her legs to dangle from the seat and not have contact with the floor, she was old and infirm, she always sat at the back of the KH and had her hand up to answer a lot, maybe if she was positioned in that way it would be easier for the speaker to see her hand? BTW there were about 60/70 publishers in the cong during that time

Satan temping Eve. Had she not ate
by pleaseresearch inbeing the loving god that he is :).
how do you imagine this playing out.
let's say eve didn't eat and so we didn't fall into sin.. what do you think god would have done with satan and his demons?.

good question, although I'm sure our loving creator would have devised another test in which they would have been guaranteed to fail and blame them again for it, all the while continuing his dick waving competition with the Devil.

we had another old bag in our cong as a kid ( there were many) who had to have special wooden blocks attached to the bottom of her special chair she used to sit in during the meetings, her name was Claire Bastable, detested her. holy that thou, a massive attitude problem as well.

I always remember this silly old senile hag at a CA sometime in the 1970's who clearly had been called on very late in her life and converted, she must have been about 90 at the time of her baptism, a big deal was being made of it because not only was she wheelchair bound she had some sort of allergy to water, so she had to be wheeled down into the pool in her wheelchair and was bound from head to toe in some sort of waterproof polyurethane plastic suit, I was eight at the time and I had never seen anything so ridiculous in all my short life nor have I seen anything since as stupid, my physically abusive bipolar lunatic elder of a father was crying like a baby as he sat next to me while I was trying as hard as possible not to break out into hysterical laughter, the dirty deed was done and the auditorium erupted, I wonder whatever happened to the smelly old bag? what a waste of everyone's times and energy, its an experience I'll take to my grave.
