I would like to know who they get there paper supply from can anyone tell me? Also how do they ship out of there truck loads or ups, ect? Does the watchtower own there own trucks and paper mills?

i'm new here, but am mightily impressed with the insights, care and compassion exhibited here.

i like to briefly share my story and receive some insights and "good counsel" from you good folks.

here goes- i'm a 49 year old lawyer, whose been divorced for 8 years.

Why do you say jw's just want to have a good time? Well the reason i say this is because that is all it was with us at the time we had alot of fun and did alot of things together that was fun, BUT then nobody was to know about me!

You asked so they just like using the heart for the wrong reason? Well i can't say that, what i mean is when they aren't going to the kingdom hall and being with the elders and other people the there group, they do show some love, but once they are fully back into to the watchtower the mind changes and they push you away this is what has happened to me.

You ask they will feel guilt but then they will return to their religion for help: This is right, but once they are found out from being with a worldly person like my self, they will cut you off really fast. This is what has happened to me also. I am told that this person has the truth and i am on the dark side. That i don't know about god and until i am with the group then i will not know the true God.

You asked curious because I don't think they are like that right? Well not all people are like that, i am just saying that this person that I was with is like that. You see this person was once an elder of a Hall and he still has family in it. You see when i started dating him he wasn't going to the kingdom hall anymore and he was the most speical person i had ever meet. You see i fell in love with who he was and how much he love the Lord like my self. But come to find out that wasn't enough for him. He wanted me to be a witness also. So i hope this will give you some answers and god bless you. Stay and read more of the story's here they are loving people. Reach out to them, and love them for who they are real people that really care.

I am not a jw either but was in a relationship with someone who was for 5 years. It didn't work about a year ago he went back into the fold. I am sorry but sometimes they are looking for just a good time. I have learned from reading on this board unless they can open there minds to read what is on here and understand what the watchtower is really all about there is no hope of a good relationship. I two believe in god and all he stands for was raised that way.

in other words from the jw point of view, only marry another jw.

he also quoted some anonymous person who said that.. "what is worst than being single is being married to the wrong person"....personally, my view is "it is better to have loved and lost, than to have never loved at all?"..

the wts are allowing many, mainly sisters to live lonely lives because of this directive to only marry other jws.

Yes, I too have been in love with a JW and still am. I found my good freind and mate with that person. So yes it is good to really have love and lost that love i would say. Know I am just another worldly person whom this person can't really talk to or have anything to do with. I was with this person for 5 years of my life then the watchtower was able to pull this person back into it folds. It is so sad that this must happen to people.

at least 300 have been terminated from the us bethel branch in the first month of 2008, and she expects the number to increase.

can someone please tell me what these people will do? Really this is so sad, what will they do for work? Where will they live with the cost of living the way it is? I live from paycheck to paycheck my self and it is just me! I feel for these people this has been there whole life, they don't know how to even work with worldly people like myself.

Hello, again this is my 2nd post, yes i have been shunned by a witness. I dated one for 5years. I am just nothing to this person. But one thing that i have found is reading all of your post on this board. My heart goes out to each and everyone of you. I wasn't raised as a witnesses but my father and mother both always told me that no body is better then any body we are all the same. So I always keep that in mind when i have to talk to this person. I feel god is looking down on all of this and he will do something in his time about it. I would like to tell each and everyone of you on this board that you are all great people. My best to all of you finding your way.
