What should I do with all of these books?

while growing up, my dad maintained a rather huge wts library.

i liked the idea of being able to pick out one of those old books from the1940s or earlier and read what they were saying back then.

well for the first time, in september of 2006 at the age of 40, i finally became a home-owner.

i once turned in 39 hours helping another to reach their pioneer goal.

fairly accurate reporting of the hours as well.

Oh, about 100 hours. But were they real? Probably not - we spent a lot of time driving from one end of the territory to the other.

i liked the idea of being able to pick out one of those old books from the1940s or earlier and read what they were saying back then.

well for the first time, in september of 2006 at the age of 40, i finally became a home-owner.

I went through my books and took out any identifiable marks and left them at the kingdumb hall. There may have been people inside, but, with the lack of windows I was able to make a hasty escape without detection.

Are Pioneers NOW wasting their time?

I pretty much feel like it was the biggest mistake of my life, auxillary pioneering. All that time wasted, I'm 10 years behind everyone else financially. I differ with most, because I have nobody to blame but myself.

Are they wasting they're time? Yes. But we're the 1975 generation, but in the 1990's. I'm sure there will be the 2010 generation, bemoaning they're mistakes too.

I guess my point is people already think that we're a bunch of weirdo's as it is - having parades where people are nude, being spanked, dressed up in dog suits, sticking double sided dildo's into orfices... now that's just over the top. People with families don't appreciate that, nor the general public.

We are not weirdo's. We are not pedo's either. We're just normal people who want to lead normal lives. Those parades do more harm than good, IMO and IMO only.

Now it is true that there are cheerleaders, etc. But that's for the majority of the public, which are not homosexual. They are heterosexual, and I don't like cramming my lifestyle down anyone's throat. I'm sure nobody wants that, and I'm not insinuating that anyone here is - but some do - i.e. probably the ones running around mastrubating in public, and being a general jackasses. That's just not okay in my books. I would love it if those parades were toned down - then maybe I'd go.
