  this has been repeated over and over in the news but what the hell no one will do anything about these assholes...so one more time....its the speculators, the investors who ....."institutional investors such as hedge funds and sovereign wealth funds are pouring billions of dollars into not just oil but mamy commodities, distorting markets and driving prices to unprecedented levels.."...and chinese influence???

  while that is a factor, it's only part of the story, said mr. masters, a portfolio manager for masters capital management llc.

  he cited u. s. government data showing that while annual chinese demand for petroleum increased 920 million barrels over the past five years, demand from speculators has moved up 848 million barrels over the same period.

  Oh - and yes, the U.S. must depend on oil from other countries - like Canada among others. I don't know the percentages off hand.

  Yes, it is my understanding that the Canadian Dollar is high because of oil, and also because of the sagging U.S dollar. Those two combined have raised our dollar up so high, causing all the manufacturing jobs to disappear. The new word is manufacturing will start to pick up again, due to the high fuel prices - it is no longer as economical to have things made in China.

  As per changing our currencies, I don't see how that is even possible. Personally, I am not going to have U.S. dollars in Canada. Not a hope in hell.

  They did. Unfortunately, the market did not permit drilling or alternative oil, such as tarsands feasible. It's all a part of our 'great' democracy.

  I share your pain - I filled up today and was not impressed with the bill.

  Neither one acts gay. I think they are both good as gold. But why they don't get involved with a woman is beyond my understanding.

  Well, that means nothing my friend. It's very possible that they are - there are lots of repressed homosexuals in 'the twooth'.

  You can be happily unmarried. Isn't it great to just be a selfish prick and do what you want to do whenever you want? Isn't it great to go blow a wad of money, go on a mini-vacation to meet friends, without having to 'discuss' it with your significant other?

  It is possible to be very happy single - but, IMO, you need to occupy your time with a lot of things that you love. You need hobbies or sports that take up a load of your interest. It works for me!

  Oh - and be able to handle loneliness.

  one thing that always use to puzzle me was the personal appearance standards, espessially for meetings and service.

  the men always were expected to where a tie, suit, jacket, etc.

  no beards were allowed-mustaches were ok!

  Like everyone has been saying, in our part of the country it varied from congregation to congregation.

  Tomorrow I am picking up my Hugo Boss suit - no more cheap crappy garbage for me.

  a brother from bethel saw i had bought myself a big screen t.v {80cm tube 1996} this was the best t.v at the time.

  {i always wanted one} he stared for some time, and mentioned in passing that he never watched television at all.

  and that this could be slowing down my ministry.

  i asked my brother why my (now deceased) father never associated with many witnesses.

  he said that many (j-dubs) were phonies,.....two-faced even according to my dad.. did you ever notices witnesses to be phony, or fake friends?
