  Thanks misguided. Haven't come across this site before. I will peruse at my leisure. Im specifically looking for a compilation of quotes and information from all sources which have been distorted and misquoted in order to mislead. Thanks again for link. Between your link,freeminds and jw facts I now have a veritable trinity of information.

  Hi Jw facts. Mine was actually a demonstration at a district assembly. The 'brother' on stage wanted to check on the internet how the relief work was going for the witnesses in some disaster stricken region. He stumbled on to an 'apostate' site which was being critical of the witnesses helping only other witnesses. I'm like, How is that apostate? Criticism? Jws have slagged off other religions for years but its not ok for them to be criticised? Needless to say, there was much overacting in the said demo, with the 'brother'(soliquy style at computer) screaming out 'apostate' several times..

  What's your favourite country you've visited?

  mine is australia.

  the's so much to do there, the climate is so warm, the wildlife there is so vast & interesting, you can scuba dive the great barrier reef, there's so many cool beaches and overall it seems quite civilised.

  i'd love to go back there again for another jolliday.. what's yours?.

  Hey doofdaddy, heading to India in November. Im so excited that I almost peed my pants! Have been to Italy. Loved it. Must travel more comprehensively before I decide on a favourite though.

  Wedding Talks

  a few weeks ago, there was a thread started on jw funeral talks and how horrible they are, but what about those wedding talks?.

  talks that has nothing to do with the couple itself, but an advertisement about how wonderful marriage in jehovahs organization is.

  *eye roll * the worst is when they have to bring up sex in the marriage in a wedding talk *barf*.

  My favourite jw wedding (apart from my own) was a few months ago when my husband's apprentice was married and his Grandfather got up at the reception to offer a prayer. He took it upon himself to contrast 'worldly' marriages and jw ones. The gall of this guy who was removed as an elder and from bethel because he had sexually abused his daughter and denied it and then finally admitted to it. His family of course sided with him until his admission. No longer an elder or at Bethel but still gives him the right to 'judge' so called 'worldly' marriages. Truly sick. And yes , the daughter he abused was at the wedding. Bah.
