But perhaps not the best speller. Unless of course your attention span is sickly complexioned and pallid.

Do You or Someone you Know - Talk in their Sleep ? Any Experiences ?
by flipper ini've been given permission by my wife to relate this - i think we need a fluff thread around here !
first of all - i don't know what it is that i have done to women in my life - but a few of them have tended to talk in their sleep !
my current wife, mrs. flipper talked in her sleep after the first week we started sleeping together !

Yes, occasionally I do. Hubby cops the brunt of it. Not long after we were married I sat up bolt upright in bed and rattled off God knows what in Italian. (sounded like swearing) Not long after I dreamt I was being attacked by some guy and I was gauging his eyes out. Hubby then woke up screaming because instead of gauging someones eyes out, Hubby was experiencing the nipple cripple from hell courtesy of moi. Yes, we're still married.

TO CLARIFY A COUPLE OF THINGS ABOUT MY PROJECT.....
by Mary infirst of all, i want to thank everyone for all the words of encouragment and compliments i've received regarding the project i put together.
not only will it (hopefully) help some family members to see that something's not right regarding many of the wt's doctrines, but it was therapeutic for me to do as well.
like many other ex-witnesses, i was emotionally devastated and extremely angry when i discovered that this religion was not "the truth" as was drilled into our brains from day one.

Heck Yes it's Jah's blessing! I've taken to playing tattslotto. Have won on 3 separate occasions! I have my ticket for the $20 million draw tonight. Will keep you posted if further blessings are bestowed. Being from Melbourne, I should put a bet on the Melbourne Cup, otherwise, WTF, I wouldn't be a very good apostate if i was remiss in doing so! Congrats on the win.

Zen living part one (summarized)
by JimmyPage inmodern life is complicated, zen living is simple.. zen living means living fully in the present moment.. by practicing zen you can spring clean your brain, get to know yourself again, and learn how to pay attention.. zen is as simple as sitting and experiencing without attatchment, attitude, or opinion, and it has been so since ancient times.. zen living helps you learn moderation, minimize chaos, get organized, cultivate self-knowledge, and feel serene..

Eastern spirituality/philosophy is something I've always been drawn to. When I was a hard core dub, it was all about striving/working towards the new system, a future goal. All that hard work and stress, meetings, field service, guilt for not doing more made me realize "I'm not happy NOW, the present. The new system may not come in my lifetime, and I want to be happy NOW." I did a little research regarding JWs and am so happy I did. It was hard at first finding out that, yes, I had been duped and no, I don't have all the answers to life's perplexing questions. But I'm okay with that now. Being happy NOW is all good. Anyone who is interested in eastern spirituality/philosophy should check out Ken Wilber's integral institute. He has authored many books on philosophy, spirituality and psychology. Looking forward to zen part living 2. (ps i've also been practicing that demonic yoga for several years!)

Has anyone done a cleansing fast?

Fasting is on top of my list to do things. I have a wonderful book entitled 'yoga for the digestive system' (by Dr Swami Shankarardevanananda) . It mentions how a great deal of energy goes into digesting food and how as westerners we overtax our body by overeating/drinking too much. Fasting gives the body time for thorough cleansing. The illustration was given how animals and children, when unwell, go off their food. In that instance loss of appetite is a natural warning sign designed to help nature's repair work. I'm going to make fasting a regular thing. By the way, I have a Born-Again co-worker who regularly fasts. What's up with that?

Hey JWfacts. re. lies subheading and the Watchtower claiming not to have changed doctrine to a previous viewpoint. The generation change is also one of these flip flops, the society returning to the viewpoint held in 1927. Details and references can be found in V's/WT comments generation video. Thanks for everything by the way, I cannot even begin to express how valuable your site is.
