My philosophy, besides do as ye will, harm noone, is to only be intolerant of those who would try to spread intolerance. Hence, my intolerance of the WTS because they are spreading intolerance of the entire world. Gandhi actually had the same kind of philosophy as I found out recently. Unfortunately, I can't remember the exact quote but the idea was the same. By the way, that is a nice little bit of food for thought.

Just watched it. I have no idea why the local KH just won't apply for a permit. The Mayor himself said he wouldn't have refused to give them one. Oh yeah, I know why, arrogance. JW's believe they have the right to do and treat people as they wish. Oh and what a surprise that FOX couldn't get an interview with anyone representing the WTS. They've lost in the lower courts so let's hope they lose in the higher courts as well.

A Wiccan friend of mine was a free mason. He gave me a bunch of info on them. It has become more of a christian social club now instead of a place where people can share some kind of life stories. I know you have to believe in One God whatever God that may be. I didn't get too deep into it because I just wasn't all that interested.

Or....there never was a Jesus. Or...it's a well known fact that the Romans didn't bury criminals, so if someone else buried him it is likely they found out got pissed and removed the body to let it rot in the sun somewhere else. Or...the resurrection never happened and the whole story was fabricated after Jesus died in order to justify his deification, considering that the new testament was not written until 70 years after his death and the Bible itself was not put together, with the exclusion of Bible books, until 230 years after his death this is the most likely scenerio.

As I have posted in a previous thread it is alarming that so much "faith" is put into the existence of demons. You hit the nail on the head Dutchie. I was always deathly afraid of Demons as a kid and even had some strange things happen to me. I feel so sorry for witness kids who are under obvious psychological torture.
this is supposed to be in my signature but it doesn't ever show up so I'm going to have to do it the old fashioned way.
