bowing out..2nd post today I am bowing out..hahah.. darn it..
thanks for you insights and opinions and beliefs..etc..
let me start by stating that i'm not a jehovah's witness but have family who have been discussing it with me and i am hoping for a better answer than i have gotten thus far.
i can find no scriptural backing for jesus being the arch-angel michael.
in fact i find things that seem to show me that they are two distinctly different beings.

some bibles use the term "worship" when refering to jesus...at times people did fall down and bow to him........this doesn't show he was god!
the greek term; proskeyneo, means to prostrate oneself, to bow down and show honour.
now, this was done for jehovah.....and his representatives....jesus israelite kings and priests....but for the honour of jehovah not as creature worship which even angels would refuse.. also i studied the non-biblical early church gospels which really does show a slow decline over 150 years, into the trinity as the watchtower claims...........although i still hate the watchtower society at least i learnt something that wasn't a lie..
thanks everyone..I am bowing out now..I'll stick with Jehovah being THE GOD, Jesus being GOD, and the HOLY SPIRIT is something different (kinda like metaclorians in StarWars). I am not going to confuse myself anymore..
May the force be with you all..

God "God is SPIRIT, and those who are worshipping Him must be worshiping in spirit and truth" (John 4:24)
"Yet shall we not much rather be subjected to the FATHER OFSPIRITS..." (Heb. 12:9)

Of my understanding (I will attach a link) - Elohim is not the only word in Hebrew than can be plural in form but can actually be singular as well

there is no need for me to argue the diety of Christ..All one has to look at is John 1:1, whether it states "a" god or "the" god..the title remains as such at its still "god", its the ranking of the actual word 'god' that is the difference.
Is Jehovah THE GOD? Yes
Has Jesus been called GOD in John 1:1? Yes
Where we have to shift is how we think of the word itself, we - by nature and how we were instructed to think is that when we say GOD, its always THE GOD (nothing wrong with that), but we have to realize that if THE GOD, has called his only begotten son GOD (yes he has), then we do not need to argue his place.
For kicks (not related - I think)
THE GOD (Jehovah)
GOD (Jesus)
Archangel (at least Michael and Gabriel) - some would say they are angel's - I say they are as well - just they are not regular angels..higher ranking
Angels (unknown but many)
Spirits (many spirits)
Man
Woman
A total of 7 type of beings..God's perfect number...probably does not mean anything..just was thinking today on this.
