What do Baptists believe?

i'm thinking about going to church again because i'm really interested in god (today)!!.

sometimes i'm so confused and feel like there is no god, other days i do and want to try and get to know him.. i guess i'm scared because of all the bs that went on in the kh.. there is a local baptist church near me that seems nice.

i'm in the uk.

Whenever a religion/ church becomes" organised", your going to have rules, dogmas, splits, and confusion. If your really wanting to pursue the christian route, find a small group that meets in a home with no leader. That's how the "bible students" started out except they had a leader... C.T. Russell.

Once you have a leader you will be right back to what you are now leaving......an Organisation.

Watchtower falsification of its history

i received an email with the following information that is worth sharing.. the 2011 yearbook goes to great lengths to elevate the truthfulness of watchtower information in even minor details, and criticise information from other sources.

so it is telling that the 2010 "jehovah's witnesses - faith in action, part 1" has omitted an important element of their history when re-enacting the 1922 cedar point convention.. under the heading "tracing all things with accuracy" the 2011 yearbook states: .

"jesus said that the faithful slave would be discreet in giving the domestics "their food at the proper time.

Let's see if I have this correct.

The writing department goes to WORDLY authors for the research they provide us with.

They go to the whore "Babylon the Great", when they quote from refrence encyclopedia's, commentaries, and dictionaries etc..........and yet they claim to be directed by Jehovah and that he feeds us through the Faithfull abd discreet slave.

One would have to think our information we recieve is really from "Babylon the Great" since their researchers get all their info from these sources.

I guess ONLY the writing department along with the FDS is really the only ones qualified to get favors from a whore whos going down for her 'sins that have massed to the heavens' when it's all over.

Damn.....makes sense to me.

my nutbag is still intact but it's a tough road to please others in order to keep a family.

Has anyone heard of "Jehovahs Witnesses United"? It's a pro witness site that attemps to explain all their looney-ass beliefs. I tried to e-mail the loon bird but couldn't. Funny how these "apologists" can never be contacted.

He's either set up incognito by the society or a self proclaimed apologist who has to hide so as not to be busted. Chickenshit as usual.

I was so happy to see that so many are still here keeping up the battle. I see the numbers keep growing here too........that's a good sign.

You guys have no idea how hard it can get (talkin bout the psudo witness road that is and not my dingy)

Last week I had to go sit in my car as the Watchtower Study was in progress reminding the dubbies that "responsible members" of the Slave Class are our daddies and how we should obey them. I thought I was gonna shit meself and HAD to leave before I stood up and yelled a really nasty expletive. My heart was racing like a was literally going to have a frickin stroke. I left the building @ par 3

Assemblies are even worse as obeidiance to the Organisation is stressed more than ever. The last District assembly the audience actually clapped when a demo was given about a sister who divorced her husband because he was going to apostate sites and asking doubting questions to her.

She said, " her life was much happier now," and the audience roared with clapping. At that time it was the closest I've came to standing up and yelling ........."Your all F#%ked in the head, I'm outta here"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Instead I walked out and headed for the Cathjolic church just a block away. I was actually going to go in there and hide but the damn place was closed and so I just walked for awhile. Even then dubs were everywhere.

I'm sure there are many like me but fewer that can't sit through the shit once they are inside the building.

One thing it does. It keeps my large family of dubbies (around 50) and I at peace. I tried it on the outside and my nutsack wasn't strong enough to take it and I almost went to see St. Peter before my time. I couldn't do it on the outside so I gave in. Pretty chicken shit but I guess it's better I'm alive for the time being.

Thanks to all my freind here who understand and gave me a warm welcome back. I'll try and pop in once in awhile.

I've been away from here so long I didn't even know Ray had died. It's strange that I've recently wondered how he was doing and even wanted to give him a call.

He helped thousands to see how this destructive cult works from the inside and at least showed the many what wasn't the truth by reminding people that there is no "go between" or channel between christ and man.
