one lady asks sisters for their thoughts and comments on male dominance over their lives.
i am not a sister but for quite a few years this subject has been on my mind, but i never spoke my thoughts, always waiting for someone else to come up with a clearer explanation of bible texts that seem to indicate that christian woman should keep their mouths shut.. where to start?

I choose to not believe that God inspired the Bible, and that Paul was merely reflecting the view that was common at the time in the male-dominated society. Stop trying to jump through mental hoops to rationalize what is obvious sexism found in your precious book.
....and please Jehovah, spare Daniel the fate that awaits him if he doesn't put faith in you and your son and your word the bible....and don't let him get swallowed up in the big crack when armageddon comes. Through your beloved son I pray, amen.
