Marriage after Armageddon
by nemail ini've been a jw all my life and am thoroughly convinced this is the truth.
but there is one thing that i just don't understand.
many jw's believe that people who get resurrected in the new system will not get married.

Hey LouBelle, There's book by Paul Arden called "God explained in a taxi ride". its basically his way of seeing god with british humor. Theres a chapter "You can believe in god without being religious" heres what it says. Believing in god does not make you a religious person. It makes you a spiritual person. A religious person is quite different. A religious person is someone who believes in a church, and(religiously) performs the rites and ceremonies laid down by the church. LOL Read it, its really funny(drawings) but yet logical.;)

Hey jnat! yeah oompa, that verse is kinda twisted. its like back to the middle east where the ladies of the household(let alone in the region) have no form of rights or say.. And seriously, there was one night where i got drunk by myself(yeah, i know its cliche) cos of the sudden msg she sent me to end all contact with her sometime back. But i have a close friend who's hindu and he's taught me to respect all religions as they all preach about peace. And B_Deserter, she does hang out with her schoolmates and gives tuition to kids who are non-jw. but i guess she spends just as much time with her congregation. The thing is, i do respect her for what she is, heck, even what she believes in(but no way im gonna convert). but in a way, i also do wanna help her out of this for her own good. And TANK, yeah, i know how u feel. the night b4 i met her brother, i was way beyond the point of sober and cool temper when i was coming up with questions to ask him. haha.. and from the forum, i've read about happily married couples where one spouse's a jw while the other's not. but they went through hell to make things work. But those are like a small percentage compared to those that dont work out. i know the chances are slim, but it wouldnt hurt to try? And guys & girls, thanks for the advice too..:)

Yeah, her mom and elder brother's jw. but her dad isnt. apparently i met up with her brother since i had some questions. and he couldnt really answer my questions well. well, im guessing she did see her elder or something cos she has sad that things wont work out. is there like any way?

ANYONE IN SUCCESSFUL RELATIONSHIP WITH JW
by Serena inhas anyone had any interfaith relationship with a jw that actually worked?
or are they all doomed from day one?

hey guys, i just signed up. i agree with serena on the 360degree turn. I'm a singaporean, non-practicing catholic. i like this jw girl, and she likes me too. but just when things were getting better, theres like a "360degree" turn on her views. imagine smsing someone you like alot, then suddenly that person msgs back to tell you to stop msging.shocking aint it??? she has said earlier that things may not work out. but on this jw website, it states that its okay for a jw to marry outside of their religion just as long both parties respect each others beliefs. so its kinda contradicting.. and seriously, im starting to give on religion too. "hope is the first step to disappointment"
