  I feel quite often that I would love to write such a letter,but I also feel that it gives them the chance to put closure on their feelings.

  They don't like it when you have left for conscientious reasons and are still free to express these reasons to those still in the cult,you present a danger.

  I would rather continue to be Mr. Dangerous and make them feel uncomfortable for a lot longer yet.

  Whatever you decide to do,good luck and all the best for your futures,and please keep posting.

  When Dubs use this scripture they are hoping to scare the brown stuff out of you that the Big A is coming and you are going to be zapped if you don't toe the WT line. I would think Pauls words referred to the nearness of the end of the Jewish system.

  What they don't think about is,if the Big A is real and occurs in their lifetime,so what? It's plainly a battle between God and the forces of evil,not our battle.

  It is so good to be free of all worry when you leave the Bullcaca behind in Dubland,where they are all wellcome to eat it!

  word has got our that mr. and mrs. truthseeker no longer attend meetings.. we still live in the territory of our old congregation.

  instead of taking the time to call us and see how we're doing, the "friends" prefer to talk about us behind our backs, one of whom passed information to my wife's mother (who is a loyal witness) that we do not attend meetings.. just waiting for the ball to drop.. .

  Truthseeker (love that name!)

  I am sure all the above comments are most helpfull to you,as they are to me. I am in a similar position to you with family "in"

  My Bro.in Law (Elder.Serv.OS in what is now next congo)phoned me some weeks ago to confirm that we no longer went to meetings,what was interesting was that to him this must have been done out of "love",but he proceeded to use emotional blackmail e.g "Your Father must be spinning in his grave" and personal attack questions.

  I expect you will experience something similar,he was really fishing for some way to pin Apostasy on me

  I would advise you to post here again if any definite approaches are made,as I did,thus preparing yourself to speak in a way that gives them no room to sling you out.

  If I was slung out for Apostasy,which is on the cards (Tarot of course) I would threaten to sue them for slander as I consider myself to NOW be a "Jehovah's Witness",in the sense that I witness to the truth from the scriptures about Almighty God.

  Of course this bears little resemblance to any Watchtower teaching.

  I would never seek to be re-instated into a cult.

  I do think though that any person in my position,either being DF'd or DA'd should insist that the most that can be announced is that "Big Fat Wobble is no longer associated with the Watchtower Society"

  Heard the name Jehovah no less than 3 times during a Christmas Eve service

  so, this is the second year i attended a christmas eve service at my in-laws advent lutheran church.

  it is such a nice service with beautiful singing, congregation participation, and a lovely sermon.

  this year however, was a bit special.

  Carla said "not to turn this into a trinity thread",and I don't want to either,but just to say that one of the best explanations of the relationship between The Father,Son and HS that I have read,was given by a Christadelphian,and they don't believe in the Trinity.

  I will post it if I can dig it up.

  And thanks Blondie,I was like Wing Com,as a born in I thought only JW's bore the name or used it much,a well read Bro. corrected me on that,showing me how many churches used Jehovah or Yahweh or both,but your examples are new to me.

  Just goes to show that the only things that are unique to J'Dubs are the things that are WRONG.

  why do they have to make life so difficult for its members....do most other cults make life so difficultfor its members?

  moonies seem happy!...i can think of other were life is not so difficult.....about the only things wt has done to make life less difficult for its zombies...is make the meetings shorter...get rid of home book studies and the extra night of dress up time misery....and lower pioneer hours three or four times.....i think they could really blossom if they would just let up and stop makin life so difficult........for its members................oompa.

  The figure I gave for those leaving is based on the 2008 report,number baptised,deduct the ave.pubs. added, gives you forty a week leaving in Britain,and only fourteen a week added..

  Crude,and just a statistic,but I think indicative of the problem they have in the lands with internet access easy to come by.

  The Gibbering Buddy only make life less difficult when they are forced to,they hate letting go of control.

  I wonder though, if the latest figures will make them do SOMETHING, here in Britain 14 per week are added,but over 40 per week leave.
