  My JW aunt and her daughter (33, still single) are here in PI from W. Virginia. We plan to have a reunion tomorrow at our house. What did you, guys (WB&TS), do to my beautiful cousin? She's been in the States for 21 years, but she looks as if she just came from the provinces. You made her dumb!

  I prayed that the JW lass (a dentist) I was wooing would finally say yes. She didn't. Thank heavens, for years later I would leave the org.

  i played this one, during my teens, with the philippine youth orchestra and the australian national youth training orchestra that visited my country.

  i couldn't keep up with the fast passages and the aussie first violinist sitting beside me kept staring at me -- bewildered.

  she looks like maria callas.

  she died of leukemia four years ago because, you know, she didn't want to have blood transfusion.

  when she died, i didn't cry at all, though she died with my right hand on her chest.

  What are some fond memories of her you will cherish?

  Well, anewme, I can't forget her final last words, "Where-is-the-doctor? Why-are-you-not-taking-me-to-the-hospital? I-still-want-to-live." But it was already too late; her body couldn't take it anymore. Quite ironic because just three months ago, she resigned herself to the inevitable.
