i have noticed that many people that grew up as a jw have a very difficult time leaving the org.
the obvious reason is the fact that they are going to be rejected by their entire social circle and family.
but on a personal level i have noticed the culture of the average dub tends to keep them shackled also.. for instance the meeting arrangement; the multitude of meetings seemingly effect witnesses in three ways:.
They question I have is basically did the society do this on purpose? Did they intentionally structure the meetings and beliefs to limit the individuals ability to exit the organization?

Do agree with you that Israel should withdraw to 1967 lines...and get rid of settlements in return for Palestinian aknowledgement of Israel and peace. The palestinians are going to have to give up 'the right of return' too. They have a good argument for the right of return to Israel proper, but it just aint going to happen, lets be honest.

Not all aid is financial, Sharon should have had Bush's FULL backing in his attack on the terrorist structure put in place and/or allowed to thrive under Arafat. Why aren't you crying about Arafat using the millions in aid money he's recieving to fund terrorism?

There is a lot of turmoil over there, from what I understand, between more liberal elements and the more conservative religious nutbags. Bushs statement really could have done some damage there.
