  Did you ever clean parks as a JW?

  i remember several brothers who did this and sometimes when they went out of town our family would do their route.

  they would bid on public parks to clean and as you might guess the job involved picking up the trash and cleaning the bathrooms.

  the pickup would get pretty smelly from all the trash bags in the bed and the day would end at the dump.

  Men's Olympic Figure Skating

  Which church has the best music?

  back when i was "inactive" for the first time and single, a girl at the mall invited me to her church.

  i had never set foot in another place of worship before and things started out with a bang, literally.

  there was loud music- with live drums crashing out the beat.

I had never set foot in another place of worship before and things started out with a bang, literally. There was loud music- with live drums crashing out the beat. I was a bit startled, it was so different from the Kingdom Hall. Later, I went to another church (again, for a girl) and the music was more like the type I had grown up with.

  So which church, in your opinion, has the best music, and why?

  Unitarian Universalist Church, does anyone here have any experiences?

  i found a dvd about evolution and great ways to teach it to children, i discovered that is promoted at uuc, it seems that the group is oriented towards acceptance and not totalitarianism.

  since i like to associate with others who think the same way i would like to know what do you think about them?.

  I have a friend who is an ex-JW and he goes to a Universalist church now because he says he doesn't want to go anywhere dogmatic. I would love to go to one myself but the nearest place is an hour away.

  My JW Friend's Justification for the WT Being God's Chosen Organisation

  below is my jw friend's "proof" that the wt is god's only organisation and mouthpiece on earth.

  he has yet to reinforce his strange story by biblical text or the church fathers or any historical evidence.. please, suggest how i may respond to his assertion.

  i believe that this is the fundamental doctrine of the 'borg' and the one on which wt credibility rests.. thank you.. .
