This type of media control seems like the first insidiously smart thing the WT has ever done. It's almost as if someone at the Society actually has a brain and is using it. Dangerous, indeed!

For those who do not believe in the Bible: Why don't you?
by Chemical Emotions ini don't believe in the bible either, but i'm just curious as to why others don't.
ridiculous misogyny and mass murder by a petty little god are two reasons for me.

I might add that after introducing things that should be seen as normal, like wanting to play guitar or wanting to date, there would be sad, sad music as if the family was falling apart.
Give us a break, WT!

What was really sad was how the father was exasperated over nothing.
He can't keep the family study regular because the kids want to do normal things.
The boy wants to play guitar and the girl wants to date.
Big deal, right? Yet the father acts like it's the end of the world.
The only one who wants to do what's "right" is the youngest boy.
But in reality it's because the JW way of doing things is the only thing the little guy knows.
The teens are getting older and naturally want to branch out into the real world.
One of the most shocking things was that the "worldly" boy the girl is interested in says he looked JWs up on the internet and found that they are a cult.
To me it seems like that would just encourage the audience to do the same to see what the internet actually says, if only to counter it should they run into the argument at the door.
Let's hope that comes back to bite them in the ass.

Zen Living Part 19 (summarized): Managing Stress on the Job
by JimmyPage inseparating your job from your ego is difficult but crucial for stress management.. letting go of your expectations can put stress into perspective, even when you are the victim of other people's expectations (which you can't control).. learning to go with the flow rather than resist what you have to do can help you be more productive and enjoy your work more.. take care of yourself and pay attention to your own needs for less stress and better job performance.. you don't have to choose between your job and your life.
both will be more enjoyable and productive if they are balanced..

so when did you start using it, and how has it changed your life?.

Which did you like better: The Watchtower or Awake? ...and why?
by JimmyPage ini always liked the awake better because it wasn't as preachy.
less analyzing of what minute thing some guy in a robe and sandals did thousands of years ago and its application for our day.
the awake seemed more secular and less dogmatic.

LOL Gladiator... wasn't it Chris Rock who called them "a comic book about God"?

I know it was designed that way on purpose, but which magazine did you lean towards and why?
Did some of you enjoy reading more about "the spiritual courtyard" and whatnot in the WT?
