FlyingHighNow, when I started collecting the Beatles on CD years ago the very first album of theirs that I had to have was "Magical Mystery Tour" cuz it was so psychedelic.
Some time back a Beatles thread was started on this site, possibly by Flipper, I don't now remember, and I kept inserting Rutles songs into it. Funny stuff!

I really related to the author in so many ways, but especially on his situation with his JW wife. Thanks for sharing! And the elephant illustration is one I'll be reminding myself of for some time to come.

I can remember going on bible studies as a kid and Herbert Armstrong was often brought up by the householder.

this is a top 10 pound for pound mma fighters of all time.. 1-randy couture almost 50 and still fighting and winning at a high level.
2-fedor emilienko needs to fight in ufc to jump to #1.
3-2 way tie mirko filipovic / antonio rodrigo nogeira "minotauro" and "cro cop" nothing else needs to be said.
I like watching MMA but at the same time I fear for the future health of these guys.
I also wonder how good it is for our culture, especially the attitudes of the younger generation.

(I also like the earliest MMA fights the best because they all look pretty much the same now, everyone has the same ground and pound strategies coupled with the same punches and kicks.
The early matches were between fighters with completely different styles of training.)

the new asleep is available on jw.org in its full color pdf glory.. i only glanced trough...seems pretty blah....except for the opening article and the pictures in particular.. the article addresses parents grieving to the loss of a small child due to an infectious disease.
an unimaginable situation for any parent (myself included)!.
the wt seems to show the natural reaction to the loss of a child and the expected grieving in a way that any normal parent would react.. however, it stood out in a stark contrast to the 1994 awake, where children lost to a stupid misunderstood and missaplied belief were lined up all smiling and their parents commended for the very actions that cut the life of their own children short!!.
