onetime(in band camp) i was rushing to get to work and i was really late.
i got there and i forgot my hand bag in the car.
Hmmmmmm...these are very funny. The only thing I can think of is sticking my tongue on a swingset in December in Wi and having it get stuck on it. But I was only like 7 so I guess that was just a dumb kid thing to do. But I do remember feeling pretty stupid standing there until someone brought out some warm water to get it dislodged from it's frozen location.

lately i have been pondering my lack of a belief system.
i think that being a jw really turned me off to believing in anything since it was all crammed down my throat.. i have been feeling a need to believe in something.
i think i believe that something created us but not sure if it was one god or many.

I feel sad because you are sad badboy. It's tough to lose a parent. My father passed away 21 years ago next month. I miss him terribly still. Time helps...but since it's only been 6 months since you lost your mum...the hurt must be huge.

As a jw kid back in the 60's (old alert)...I never had a chance to think of a "career" other than getting married young and having a family. Sure as hell didn't want to pioneer. Maybe that is why so many of us got married young. (And it was nice to be able to have sex LEGALLY...hahahaha)! Anyway, I digress.
Now if I could go back in time I would most likely have gone to college and gotten a degree in horticulture/botany or perhaps something to do with counseling. Like a psychologist. I LOVE giving advice (and don't you know it Brookie)!!!
Now I'm just an old, worn out, used up homemaker/slave. I do think of going back to school someday when I feel better. Oh yeah...real estate would be fun too...if you didn't have to know all that math stuff that goes with selling houses.

i am so sad today and i don't know how to make the sadness go away.
Brookie...NEVER EVER feel guilty about letting your husband/my son watch over the youngun's! You have sacrificed a whole lot for the band and for him and his schooling. Now that he is out of school for the summer...things should ease up and perhaps you can get out more. I do feel guilty for not being the kind of "gama gama" that I wanted to be to help you out. I just didn't, in my wildest dreams (which are never too wild, damn it), think that it would take so much energy to watch two little kids!! And you do it day in and day out.
So let Austin watch the kids and feel no guilt. I mean, jeeeeeeeeeeeshhhh...they are his kids too (they are aren't they? HAHAHAHAHA)! I still think you need to look into some type of daycare for them if only one day a week. They would benefit with the association of kids their age and you could have the day to yourself.
I see from this thread that many, MANY people love you!

and so very very very glad that i got out of the "borg" when he was still just a little guy.
I am so happy for you Dawn AND for your son! We raised our two sons in the "borg"...but thankfully my two little grandchildren will lead the "normal" life you speak of. I thank whoever or whatever everyday that my kids also left when we did.
(I did hear that ketchup will improve the taste of dirt.
