this board is quite helpful in a number of ways.
do you feel that you contribute to the growth of this board or are you just a taker?
I try minimus, I try. But even if I posted 65 times a day, I could never give to this board the encouragment that I get from everyone here. I've said it before and I'll say it again...this board was a life saver for me when we first left.

my mother was rather upset last week.
she had been sorting the territory when the group was out on field service.
there were only lowly women present so there was no problem with her doing this, as she usually did.
Gill...boy did that experience bring back major "flashbacks"! How ridiculous it was to be enmeshed in such petty situations with "sisters" who thought THEY had special rights just because they were married to an elder. Good Riddance!

i was so afraid.
i was still attending meetings and my husband had no idea i was posting on an apostate site.. much has changed; we are both inactive faders and much happier.. thanks to all of you along the way that shed light on the darkness in my life.. love, blondie

we just received 1,000 copies of my son's band, tree of woe's, new cd..."mushroom cloud".
they are an alternative rock band that recorded at 7th kid studios down in ok with jimmy newquist producing 3 of the songs this past march.
they're even getting air time on central wi's biggest rock station.
In a few weeks, the CD should be available on the website. It really IS a good CD. (not that i'm prejudiced in the least)! So if anyone wants a listen...they can hear some of their stuff on the website: www.treeofwoe.com

after reading jt stumbler's topic on avatars, i recognised that certain avatars appeal to me, and i'm sure others feel the same.... .
elsewhere (no idea why, gimme a clue), ezekiel3 (says a lot), euphemism (loved the marx bros) and googlemagoogle (so classical) spring to mind, oh, ip_sec's last avatar (the red pyramid) - want to revert back ip_sec?
