my daughter lilyan qualified the minimum 10 inches required.
i took pictures of her donating her hair.
at first she was a little apprehensive, and terrified of getting her hair cut.
I can't even hardly tap this out as I have so many tears running down my face. I am SO PROUD of you Brookie and my little Lilykins for doing that for someone who is in need.
Those are the most precious, beautiful children in my world. You too Brookie. You and Lily done good!!!

Oh THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU TO ONE AND ALL!! Of course we will be able to come...just can't take the pressure of "hosting"...and thanks for the nice comments about last year's "disaster" fest. It 'twas fun but frustrating with the crappy weather.

Hello all...haven't been here in a while...but just needed to drop in and let you all know that I won't be able to host the 2nd Annual Apostabeercheesefest this year. I know...bummer. It was so much fun at my house without the electricity or flush toilets wasn't it? Anyway...both Gary and I have had some major health issues towards the end of last year and this year and I just don't have the energy to plan this most exciting and momentous occasion.
I guess if there is to be a 2nd Annual Apostabeercheesefest in central WI, it will have to be organized and held at somebody elses abode...or park...or something.
So I apologize because I really thought it would be an annual event here at my house...but maybe in 2007???

This just breaks my heart. It just doesn't seem possible. What an utter waste of a precious life. I also hate the org. and all the lives it has ruined or snuffed out. This broken heart goes out to all who knew him and his family and close friends.

i remember once, an elder told me that i could become a full time pioneer.
i was working 40 hours a week, and had a seasonal job 7 months a year.. the way he figured it out, i could work 8 hours during my day, then go to my meetings, and still find 3 or 4 hours to preach that same day...... i told him to go climb a tree.
My dear Mr. Rat...I think the question should be..."Did you ever get any GOOD advice from elders or ministerial servants"? Of course then there wouldn't be anyone responding probably. No...you asked the right question.
They just kept telling me, at my lowest point of depression bordering on suicidal thoughts...JUST DO MORE IN SERVICE, GET TO MORE MEETINGS AND YOU'LL SNAP OUT OF IT! Oh what a bunch of horse shit and I could go on and on and on.......
