Since I shall be busy tomorrow celebrating my fifty years of existence and especially my almost 5 years of freedom from the (B)org...please be kind to this old lady and stop by and wish me a Happy Birthday! (Shameless self promotion and I don't give a damn! Oops...can I day that here?). This will be the first time I feel comfortable acknowledging my birth as an emancipated woman...free from (B)orgdom.

New Announcement At The Memorial?
by dawn27 ini was just wondering if anyone has heard anything about an announcement to be made at the memorial this year?
my family is repeatedly pressuring me to go and the newest approach is that they've heard about an announcement, never made before, that concerns innactive ones or ones who have fallen away,, that is all that they would tell me.
are they going to come find and disfellowship us unless we go back or can we now come back "no questions asked" (yah right)?

I am delighted to report that our local newspaper...The Central Wisconsin Sunday edition, which circulates not only in my hometown of Stevens Point but also other localities here in central Wisconsin...carried this article in the front section, pg. 9. Huge bold headlines and, to make things even better, right underneath was an article entitled "Russian Court Bars Religious Sect From Moscow". Yup...a double whammy!! Of course the remarks by the bottom feeder J.R. Brown were so typical of what the JW's use to try to maintain some sort of "damage control". Is there no end to their lies and deceptions??? Me thinks not.
But I was most happy to see these articles in our local newspaper. I hope it has an impact as our small town is mostly made up of the Catholic persuasion. I am sure that they are glad to read an article that brings out the criminal acts of another religion besides their own.

What's The Most Traumatic Thing That's Ever Happened To You As A Witness?

I could probably answer the question: "What's the Least Traumatic Thing That's Every Happened To You As A Witness" much easier. Too many trauma's...too little time to go into detail. When I look back at our involvement in this cult over four decades...I can now see that it was just one event after another. And we took it like good little JW's. Don't complain. Don't make waves. (For any further information on our "trauma" that got us out of this cult you can look under my topics and "coming out of the closet". This though was only the "tip of the iceberg".)
