why is watching soap operas not allowed in dub land ?
by looloo ini was told it was like mixing with bad association , i found that quite laughable considering all the scandal that went on in the congregation , it made eastenders look very tame , im suprised they could not see it for themselves ,how hypocritical it all was

husband and I just did a disfellowshipping offence
by megaflower inwe hung a large american flag on our house.
i must say it looks real nice esp when it waves.
i hope they do my street soon in the door to door work and ole glory waves at them proudly.

as i told you before, they boe have been considering me for the eldership.
which i don't care for, but since my family is stuck in this cult, i guess i can use the new position to help them see that the holy spirit has nothing to do with me being an elder.

the thing Id like to mention is, OOTB, ' There are many witnesses who say they left because of a elder, not being a true elder, lying, favourtising, etc' You dont want to be that elder. I cant imagine anyone wanting be that ever, best to leave making your position clear. I mean in a congregation there are 6/7 elders, and they are right when they look to appoint new elders it is because they want to offload some assignments on some poor sap. They wont offload any respobsibility until they know for absolute sure you 'are one of them' in coruptness. I cant magine how anyone, like yourself, with a consious and is a good person, would want to put them thru it. Think of all the pressure, I presume you are american OOTB, only a crazy american would even consider this, lol just joking, seriously again dont do it.
Shame on you that are encouraging him!!!

Will there be 4 meeting days this week? Or,will one be cancelled?
by RULES & REGULATIONS inthe memorial is this saturday evening march 22,2008. will they cancel any of the meetings or will they still have the book study,ministry school,and sunday meeting?
isn't that alot of meetings in one week?
now i know why i rarely attend!

The thing is out of the box, you really wont find yourself changing anything, altho elder is another step up the ladder it isnt far up the gravy chain to make any differences. Wanna make a difference to the peopleyou care about, take a stand, write a detailed letter to personal addressed to everyone you care about, your letter of DA, send it a day before you send the one to the elders and the the society, that way, your out and u have said your piece. Living that kind of double life being privy to lots of personal stuff about the flock and knowing that on your own there isnt much you can do about it. Dont serve these men no more, get out dont waste another precious moment of your life on these things. Pursue your own happiness.

NEW TRACT CAMPAIGN PLANNED....
by sir82 in....for october 20 - november 16.. there is a new tract to be introduced, with the title "do you want to know the truth?".
it is not a "kingdom news" campaign - after the campaign, this tract will join the "regular rotation" of tracts to be used in the field misery.. it is designed to replace the "do you want to know more about the bible" tract - the goal is to use it to start "bible" studies.. the goal is to cover all of the congregation's territory in 4 weeks, similar to other campaigns in the past.
unlike other campaigns, though, the congregations can order as many as they would like - they are not limited to 50 per publisher.
