so what do you drink, where and how?.
of course in britian we drink our pints down the pub.. i have to laught when i'm in europe as they only drink tiny glasses of beer , when you ask for their equivalent of a pint they look at you as if you are some nut case.. anyway i usually get through a couple of bottles of wine and several pints of larger a week.i drink most nights but not too much.. is it true that the legal age for alcohol is 21 in the states?.
i remember celabrating my baptism at 17 with a few pints in the pub.

I had to cry whenever I was in UK as they did serve tiny 1/8th of gill portions of vodka, when I asked for a quadruple they did look at me as a nut case and even asked "sir, do you know the meaning of that word?. I replied "yes, fourfold" and had my large vodka.
Our measure is 4 cl and your 1/8th gill is about 1,8 cl. Here beer is served in pubs mainly by 50 cl and your pint is exactly 56,82615 cl. So I was worse off there.

I remember one old lady amongst the partakers long time ago. She only did show up at a memorials, nobody actually knew her. Shabby clothing and odd gestures were pointing certain direction. I just wonder do they count these as well? I have never heard details of the the criteria as to who is included in the count and who is not?

I am not familiar with anybody here who would enjoy lutefisk. Here it is just a part of traditional (pronounced: compulsory) xmas menu. Closer to your area it might help people get back to their roots when needed. Whereas one time in the past "Hip to be Square" by Huey Lewis used to be a faworite song of my son.

(4) trash can punch-usually mixed in large quantities consisting of red hawaiian punch,mello yellow,pieces of fresh fruit,and ample quanities of everclear.
(3)cherry limeaides w/vodka.

Same nonalcoholic beer is/was on sale here too, but price is/was higher than proper beer. That extra cost is because alcohol is removed after the fermentation and besides hardly anybody would buy that stuff. So only the true lover of vodka taste would spend the same money for fake vodka - I have never heard of one.
Few beers is ok, but what is the use of getting inibriated with all those secondary products of fermentation? Those fusel oils and other by-products are the ones needed only for the purpose of hangover.

You said it. Our tradition is plain vodka or moonshine and possibly a splash of mineral water for those beginners.
But who said that it should taste good? If anybody here would drink vodka just for the taste of it I am shure there would be a nonalcoholic variation of vodka on sale as well - but there is not.
i am aware of false religious doctrines in the w.t.s.. i never really considered the possibility of others also being manipulated by different religious organizations.. i work with a woman who is very devout in her beliefs.
the women in her church are not permitted to use birth control, cut their hair, wear makeup or wear jewelry.
they may sing but no music or musical instruments are permitted.
Sounds like a sect or movement we have here. No TV, no laundry machine with a glass window (not see women underwear tumbling around) etc.

At that time I was busy getting well and back to my family. This seemed so little as to compared what I had just undergone. Also it was about 25 years ago and therefore history.
But not history of its own. Me being still a JW my JW bank manager did leak my financial matters to my mother, information that I actually would have kept for myself. But I was too young then to take any action.
Today I am better off; now I can choose my friends.
