  Hot Food at the DCs past...What was it like?

  i came in to the "loving" organization when they had the nasty cold food so i dont know how good the hot cooked food was.

  my ex says it was pretty good, but should i have belived her?

  i would think hot food made for a happier time at least for the eaters.. brzfst.

  a trustworthy source has given me the opportunity to share some information about rolf furuli.

  a well known apologist og and greatly respected elder in norway and a schoolar at the university of oslo.

  he does not compleatly agree with the fds in all cases i guess, and lately he has spoken up in his local congo about 3 subjects.. # 1. education.

  Medical Marijuana

  I've never tried medical MJ before but I used to be an avid user and I will agree it does have some addictive qualities but IMO feel that it is better for you than many alternatives, even for recreational use. The drugs and alcohol can be much worse.

  If it were legal it would be first choice besides alcohol.

  How do you handle ... being shunned?

  my da announcement was last tuesday, so i have been on the official jw shun list for about a week now.... i am curious how you handle shunning.my situation:.

  i have spoken with my family (my parents and 1 brother) and discussed whether they will shun me.

  i explained that biblically they should not shun me since i am not an antichrist, and i have not rejected the teaching that jesus cam in the flesh.

  Well A@G, I dunno for sure but I think I was shunned at a family gettogether over the weekend for my nephews graduation. I cannot really say for sure but he didn't hardly say two words to me nor did his wife.

  Kind of wierd. The avoidance of visual contact. Oh well, still had fun with the rest of the bunch though!

  what is the stupidest thing a jw ever told you?

  we all know that they say a lot of stupid things, but what really topped the cake?.

  for me, it was an elder telling me i was progressing really well when my meeting attendance was down and my field service hours were slipping.

  ok everyone, just some fun here - no i haven't got wind of any change in the pipeline but, if the watchtower bible and tract society were to ditch the name watchtower altogether, what would they call the watchtower magazine instead?

  all suggestions warmly welcomed......
