Just what are JW's eager for?

i have read over and over that the false prophecies of the wts are really not false prophecies.

they where just folks who were over eager and were keeping oil in their lamps and so forth.

it occured to me today to wonder "eager for what?

a few people have been sent home from my wife's workplace with swine flu today, including her neighbour.

we don't know if my wife has it yet.

scotland seems to be the epicentre of this outbreak in europe, but i know it has also been common in the us.

there are so many good movies that have been made that just didn't garner enough attention.. what movies do you think are good that weren't huge successes?.

Why's everybody getting divorced????!

this is insanity!

literally four couples that i know closely & personally have told me in the last two weeks that they are divorcing their spouses.

and there are a couple on here whom i've discovered are separating as well (these two i do not know personally, but i'm a little surprised & saddened regardless).

I can't take this pain anymore...my life at dead end

my life has reached to a dead end...i'm stuck and there is no way out.

i was inactive for 6 years and i'm disfellowshiped for the past 3. i would never think that my life would have been in this terrible mess.. .

i wasn't planned to be disfellowshiped by my "wife" turned me in to the elders for apostasy 2 times!!!

Justhuman, Being married to a devout JW is a difficult thing since I'm in the same boat. I and others here I'm sure feel the same as you do and would like to have a fresh start but it is difficult. I have no real advice to offer you other than my support. Quirky

the shunning.. after you have been reinstated and you think you are back to square 1 ... then it all goes south.. it's like you were still df'd.

What did you do to piss the brothers off?

when you were getting fed up with meetings before you gave up, was there anything you did to deliberately get on the brothers nerves?.

i turned up to a meeting once with jeans on, and a red top with cccp on it with the 'hammer and sickle'.

i also went to another bs group a few times so that if i wasnt at one group they'd think i was at the other and vice versa.
