Simon, I've got to say,
You've hit the nail on the head. The double speak of the Watchtower is being exposed for what it is, for the whole world to see. They may try to shut one site down but others will pop up.
i am starting a new thread so folks do not have to search through several pages of posts to find this image.
the original thread was here.
i received the following fax this morning from my old isp(dirtclod.com was coincidentally moved the same day i received notice regarding this copyright infringement for bandwidth purposes) and was seven pages in length.

what would you call a person who drinks to the point of near-unconsciousness?
every week?
who can't deal with personal problems and/or set backs any other way?
Hi Soledad.
I don't post very often. However I feel compelled to tell you about a book called Games Alcoholics Play. It's been out for a while but I don't know the authors name. I've read it and you'll be amazed at some of the information you'll find in it.

Hey lost diamond, At this point, I can bare her calls. However if things turn sour, then I will tell her not to call.

The funny thing about it, is that I have no desire to call or talk to her. She did some pretty mean things when we split. If I happen to bump into her, of course I would be cordial. I don't mean any ill will toward her but she reminds me of where I was not where I am.

She'll usually carry on about herself in a manner as if she talked to me yesterday. She seems to have a need to inform me how she's doing. Does anyone else have this problem? Why is it so hard for people to move on?
i wasn't sure where to post this, but here it goes.
i had just received my tax forms back from my accountant with a note stating that he tried to call me but had a invalid number.
in writing he told me that he did not put my rent down as a deduction just like last year.
Thanks for the help.
I live in massachussetts and there is a standard minimum credit that can be applied for rental deduction. It's 1/2 your rent or $3,000.00 whichever is less. In any event, I'll be changing accountants.
As always, the people on this board give good feedback.

In writing he told me that he did not put my rent down as a deduction just like last year. I was puzzeled, ( I wondered why I paid more state taxes last year ) Anyway, I call his office and spoke to his wife who is a partner in the firm. I told her that there was a mistake on my tax return and she said, " there was no mistake, we used the same information as last year ". I said that there was a mistake last year too but I had not noticed it until I pulled a copy of last year returns. She was pissed and started yelling saying that if we had to do the forms over they would charge me. I told her that I was disappointed because I went over all the information when I sat down with her husband who prepared the taxes. She puts me on hold and her husband get on the line and says that he didn't want to raise any red flags by adding my rent as a deduction. He also says that I wouldn't get that much back anyway. So I say, well if it's a wash between what I'm getting back and the extra your going to charge me, then I'll file as is. We ended the conversation and hung up.
I was steaming !!!! I pay this guy good money every year to do my taxes and find out that he's missing some of the basic deductions!! Anyway 10 minutes later I get a call from the office manager and she states that because I'm a long time customer, he will re-do them for free. I'm thinking, He screwed up he should do them for free and he should apologize for making the mistakes. But he didn't. I've been going to him for about 20 years and I get treated like this?
Out of curiosity I looked at copies of my previous years returns and found that he also missed other basic things. Looks like I'm going to have to find a new accountant.
