I grew up watching my dad the elder beat up my mom the pioneer. She finally left him when I was 15 and threatened to kill him. The elders in the cong "reproved" her for leaving the man who beat her and her 4 daughters black and blue.

I don't remember what they taught there, it was a decidedly unpleasant way to spend 5 years of my life.

Yes it was primarily just for JW's. We didn't exclude "worldly" kids, but they weren't encouraged either. There is another thread on this topic, do a search for "New World Education Center".

"Jehovah's Witness School"
by Jacinta ini posted my experience on this board and took for granted that some may have never heard of the jw school.
i don't know if they exist in every state (apparently not), but the one i went to is named new world education center.
all of the teachers had to be baptized jws and the principal as well.
