Back in 2001 or 2002, A JW sister who I consider it as a friend confided in me that his son got df'd, she told me about all of the details. He tried not to get df'd. It affected him very much, it affected his spirituality, but they still df'd him and he got reinstated after one year of meeting attendance. Elders/Ex-Elders, What were the excuses did the wrongdoers give you while you were on the Judicial Committee?

it's been an ongoing issue with my mother and me.

the house is very large and it needs 2 people to clean up the area.

she usually picks times when i'm not around to clean up the place to clean up and i pick times that are convienent for me (saturdays and sundays) to do the same.

I have a rule for myself, I always clean the house each time before I leave the house. It makes life alot easier. Well, your house is in very BIG mess like you have implied in your first post in this thread, start cleaning now and once it is very clean then apply my rule, then you will not have a problem ever again.

the watchtower says; "there is an enormous distinction between true christianity and the religion practiced by those who are christians in name only" - wt 1st october 2009. now, in the light of all the current controversy over the word 'atheist' and what it means can you see how irritating it is to have your frame of reference, be it a religious belief system or something else, redefined by others?

and usually it is redefined by those who have something to gain by the linguistic manipulation.. for the watchtower the gain is easy to see but what about the attempt by many believers to define atheism as a belief system?

could it be that equating rational atheism with belief is nothing more than an attempt to legitimize faith?.

i'm new here, this is my first post.

have been reading so many comments from you guys over the past few months and now i can finally comment too!.

it is amazing how long it took me to see that jw's are not god's organization and that their teachings do not really find support in the bible.. now i'm not really sure what i believe.
