  my dad was in the army and came into the truth in 1968. the family was split up because dad was a piss head and mom was a axe murderer.. not a good start to bringing up 2 kids at the time.

  his brother was offering him a job as a programmer at diigtal computers in 1974. my dad told his brother to go away and stop offering him these jobs as the end was coming in 1975!!

  if my dad had took the job in 1974 our family would be millioners now like his brother and his kids.

  about five years ago, john williams came to philadelphia, ms as a visiting bethel speaker for our special assembly day.

  i was well acquainted with him, as he had been to my kh before as a special weekend speaker, and also to a neighboring congregation.

  in his afernoon talk, he goes off about social network websites and he made this statement: "brothers, make no mistake about it, myspace is no place for christians".

  my younger brother was at bethel in london when the 911 took place in america.

  he said this is it and the great tribulation had started!!

  i was at work in liverpool in the uk on that day and i was shitin it when he rang my mobile.. i then had a call from other my brother who was df 3 years before but some how he was shitin his pants also.

  Who Was Your Favorite Speaker?

  no brag, just fact---i was the most requested speaker in my hall(s), i was often requested to give talks in kh's all over the place, not just in my area.. i personally enjoyed speakers who taught you something, not merely recited something.

  we had a district overseer, paul illingsworth, i loved his style.

  he delved into bible words of the original greek and hebrew.
