  when i was 14 i decided to dissassociate myself.the elder flipped and met with me and my parents.i shared my feelings about the hypocrisy that i saw in the teachings and actions of the witnesses.i was assured that i simply needed to pray more and that i was too young to comprehend the incidents which had made such a negative impression on me.. .

  then they went on to liken my feelings to a man who had a handful of diamonds but could only see the dust on them.. did you ever receive counsel that belittled the real issue?

  Do you use JWD to AVOID what you should be doing?

  then you should read my book "procrastination perfection" by willdolater wings.

  only problem is, i haven't gotten to actually writing it.

  tomorrow is always a good day to get things done.

  People are just nuts right now.I get treated like Im the IRS myself,like Im pocketing what they owe.I actually had a guy yell at me yesterday!So I appreciate this board a whole lot right now!

  As a Witness Teenager - Did you Sneak Around ? Comical / Serious tales !

  as you all know i was raised in a very prominent witness family in california .

  dad was , and still is an elder since 1953 !

  in my youth in the 1970's i did my share of sneaking around / yes, although being an elders son!

  Wow.I was really awful.I never got caught though!

  Snuck out frequently to go clubbing.

  Went to the movies and claimed time(I was pioneering!)

  Started drinking,Mom usually had a stocked liquor cabinet.I really liked a couple shots of vodka before meetings.

  And I discovered Dads medicine cabinet.Lortab,percocet,valium,Oh My!

  Started doing acid with a dub buddy at "sleepovers".

  The worst is probably when I ate a quarter of shrooms at an assembly.I had 4 or 5 differen coloured pens.I used them to create an intricate pattern of "notes".
