okay, so my girls all moved out and we had three empty rooms and a lot of bills to pay.
so we decided to rent the upstairs room with its own bath.
we also have a three car garage and the single car garage is fully drywalled, has its own entrance and is huge.
I have never trusted anyone since then when the first thing out of their mouth is "I'm a Christian" or "I put everything in the Lord's hands".
So true, J.O. I never rent to anyone who makes it known they're a big church person or their daddy is a preacher, when it doesn't even come up in our conversation. They're usually the same people who will tell you you'll never have to do maintenance or repairs because their uncle is a plumber.
something someone said on one of the popularity topics got me to wondering who on the board is quiet and who are the outgoing ones in real life.
i'm a quiet person in real life, takes me a while to warm up to folks that i just meet, but if i really like a person my rarely used gift of gab comes out.. how about ya'll?.
I'm not outgoing, but, one-on-one if I find some common interest, I can talk someone's head clean off, just like my daddy.

So sorry, Loz. Palmtree made a good point. It's very important to make your feelings known to her, for the record. It may not have an immediate effect on her, but one day when she looks back, she'll know you did what you could and that she is loved. And if you have to take a punch for it, at least you know you can.

i, like otwo in another thread, never really had a bad experience with jws.
i never had any case of molestation come up in the the many congregations i served in.
i never had any major beefs with any elder body.

when i first moved to ottawa i knew a woman who had shaved all her hair off and had tattoos all over her head - bizarre but interesting.. a few actresses have done it and they look fabulous although not all do and i doubt most men would love it.. for you fellows that shave bald - why do ou like it.
