LOL! I'm gay, but neither the men's bathroom stank, nor the women's even worse stank was pleasent to me. Made me physically ill to be completely forthright. It would give me dry heaves to clean either restroom, so I did the dramas instead. Go figure....a homo in a theatrical production. LOL!

by tan ini mean i use public restrooms...even gas station restrooms on occassions and they never smelled like the assembly bathrooms.

Odd, how for the first 1800+ years after Jesus died, the church didn't teach that homosexuality was an illicit practice. For many years, religious leaders claimed because the bible says it's so, that gentiles couldn't be true believers. Then women. Slavery and racial divide was also touted as being right with God. Also, there is far stronger prohibition against divorcing and remarriage in the bible, but that is overlooked and downplayed.
Even John Gill the famous Baptist minister in the mid 1700s had defined malakoi to refer to Onanism, or masturbation, NOT homosexuality. He said in his book 'Exposition of the Bible' that they were 'corrupters of themselves, by voluntary pollution, such as are guilty of the sin of Onan'.

while i readily admit there were some "good," and "kind" jws in the congregation i grew up in.
and maybe it was the location -- my dad was asked to move there -- but for the most part it was an intellectual sahara.. yet i've noticed that on this forum there are some incredibly "smart" people.

Shamus: Now it is true that there are cheerleaders, etc. But that's for the majority of the world, which are not gas hogs. They are environmentally aware, and the US doesn't like others cramming their lifestyle down their throat. I'm sure nobody wants that, probably the ones running around driving SUVs in public, and being general jackasses - gasoholics especially. That's just not okay in my books. I would love it if those orgies of gasoline consumption were toned down - then maybe I'd let it go.

Self -Employed or Otherwise Gainfully Employed - Gas Prices Eating You Up?
by flipper inlast night at the gas pump i had a verbal , emotional outburst , swearing to no one in particular - just the gas pump , until i saw 2 guys at the island down from me - so i figured i'd let it rip !
frustration over these insanely rising gas prices finally took it's toll on even -keeled mr. flipper !
i started my rant , wanting these guys feedback , " what is it with these #ucking gas prices ?

Nah. Alternative transportation methods perhaps, you know, walking, mass transit, more fuel efficient vehicles. The current model of transportation simply isn't sustainable. Time to change your behavior, not expect a miracle, cure all, fuel invention.
