Is there anyone here formerly of the "Annointed"?

i'm sure this question has been asked here before, but i was wondering if someone would care to enlighten us as to the undeniable "sign" or occurence that makes folks believe that they are of the annointed class?.

....or am i asking too personal a question?.

i've always been really curious as to what happens to these people to make them believe this beyond a shadow of a doubt.. apparitions?.

I am good friends with an ex-JW who was a member of the "anointed". He still believes that there are only 144,000 anointed Christians, and that a great crowd will still live on earth. He still believes in about 80% of JW theology. I have never felt comfortable asking him what made him believe that he was anointed. Some day, I will though.
He believes that all of the men on the Governing Body are not true anointed brothers of Christ, but are false apostles. He knew Ted Jaracz very well when Ted was a traveling overseer in the Los Angeles area in the 1960’s. To say the least, he does not hold Jaracz in high regard.
He still tries to submit letters and doctrinal corrections to the writing department, even though he was disfellowshipped for apostasy in 1996. He distributes his articles via email to several people around the country; including some active Witnesses.
I really wish that he would post on this forum. I do not agree with his theological views, but he is incredibly knowledgeable and intelligent none the less.

144000 is too many kings and priests. There is one king, Jesus Christ, in the heavens. There are twelve priests, the apostles, in the heavens. There will be one king upon the earth, myself. The faithful and discreet slave. How many kings ruled upon the earth at any given point and time? No where is it written that any of the 144000 join Jesus Christ in heaven. The Almighty GOD is KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. Jesus Christ is king in the heavens. No more kings are needed in the heavens besides Jesus Christ.

mcclellan has recently published a book that is highly critical of bush and his administration.

mcclellan's book has understandably created a furor within the current presidential administration, an administration that has valued loyalty above all else.. mcclellan was a long-time bush loyalist, he started working for bush when bush was still govenor of texas.

Truly I say to you that our "Prince of Peace" will act under righteous law. Where there is righteous law there is no conflict. The unlawful one creates disruption, but love unifies. Treat all of the masses equally, take part in the work of growing produce to feed the masses. Be sure that the masses have shelter and all that is needed for survival. The Prince, out of respect from the masses continues his rule and all flourish. Allow me to ask you this question, is democratic rule a righteous rule? Should you allow the merchants a license to distribute alcohol to its patrons until they can no longer walk?

H Steve - I have to admit that you kind of lost me there after your sentence - "Motivation could also be referred to as inspiration." I wonder: Do you see a specifically apocalyptic meaning in the publication of McClellan's book? I ask because you cite [what I believe to be] the so-called Apocalypse of John," verses 15 - 18, although I don't see a reference to the chapter in question.

Identifying the actors in a story book allow a person to follow that character in a book and know who they speak of when anything is written about them. Identify the wild beast in the bible who attack the holy ones under inspiration by satan the devil in the end time, and you will know how bible prophecy is being fulfilled.

I quoted Revelations 17:17 so you are correct. If these days were not cut short by Jesus Christ arriving as written no flesh would have been saved. The war broke out in heaven and satan and his demons were cast down and it was in their heart to annihilate all life out of existence. The talk of nuclear war was abroad and evident. Many nations prepared for battle as they saw the unlawful beast attacking in their territory........

So yes, I speak of the time we are living in which is known to many as the apocalyptic

Funny how after no longer drawing a paycheck, and in a position of power, they find 'truth'.

He didn't find truth, he revealed it. There is a difference from a person making false accusation then one proving what everyone else knows from his own government.

I have posted this information on this forum before. I am the only one existing in this time period that has experienced this. The feeling upon the forehead is more than apparent and it feels as if though someone is pressing onto your head. My heart begin to beat heavily and I felt a deep inner sensation very warm and it feels the same as when a dye is being injected into your body for an xray. You are fully aware of GOD being present before you. I was immediately commanded to bow before Him. His mere presence commands it. This is how the spirit bears witness........

I am of the anointed but will not be anointed until the Kingdom of God takes over. Please research the meaning of being anointed. How many of Gods kings do you see upon the earth today acting as His authorative figure?........NONE.

The meaning that the society puts forward is false, they are not kings and priests.

Hi jwblog - You should please re-read my original post, in which I make it clear [or, at least, I think that I make it clear] that I agree with McClellan's statements. I don't question McClellan in terms of factuality. From a factual perspective, he is correct. But in this sense, McClellan is saying absolutely nothing new. In my opinion, the Bush administation, and its policies are a horrendous perversion - an obscene and hateful travesty of law and common decency. I wonder if I can make myself any more clear.
I suppose that where my suspicions lie are in respect to McClellan's motivations and his timing. If more people of power and influence had only spoken out sooner, and had halted Bush's policies, the lives of countless people perhaps - perhaps - could have been saved. It just seems strange to me that McClellan should speak out only now, as opposed to earlier. It seems strange to me that McClellan has waited untl now - when Bush's "lame duck" presidency is almost at its end - to speak out, whereas his speaking out earlier could have saved so much money and so much human life.
As free moral agents, people choose not only if they have the will to speak out and fight injustice, they also choose when to do so. In other words, they choose both to act, and when to act. Speaking out valiantly against evil and tyranny after the fact, when the damage has already been done, is of precious little value (or, for that matter, valor). What's the old expression? It's like closing the barn door after the horse has already escaped.The sad truth about Iraq is...never mind...forget it.

Motivation could also be referred to as inspiration. The agitation of the sea, the rising of one power after another in time of war and crisis. One unlawful act creates anger and causes another nation to excercise its power and strength. The Almighty God inspires and puts His will into the hearts of many people throughout the land in order to bring Peace and Security under the reign of Jesus Christ to His loved ones. All of creation are the "loved" ones of the Almighty. It is written that He will put it into their hearts in order to make the Harlot devastated and naked. Naked meaning exposed. in acts 1:7 the apostles asked " lord, are you restoring the kingdom to israel at this time?

There is no evidence of it. Why would anyone try to fool anyone else with their chronology? Were they ever aware of the fact that people would be doing research as yourself in order to prove whether a claim is true or false?

History is written according to the historian whom wrote it. The only book of history that is reliable is the word of God. It is written that God will prove all men to be liars.

I cannot give you what does not exist. Wait until the Father proves everything to humans Himself. Nation rose against nation it has been proven by world wars 1 and 2. That is fulfillment of prophecy. However, the end was not at that given time as Jesus Christ wrote.

Especially the part about Xerxes faking his own death and calling himself ARTAxexes?

There is a wealth of information on the internet in order to research this claim. I would never make such a claim if I could not prove that it is true.

That is what I wonder about - McClellan's credibility and his motivations for writing and publishing his book.

How can you question someones credibility when there are statements made that are "TRUE".?
