i've just finished an article for randy over on freeminds.org, which i've submitted to him for review.

the article discusses the fact that the watch tower society is already in decline, and suggests the year 2005 as the turning point.

Good chronological story of the WTS. and whats been happening to it since the late 60's.

Nevertheless there's still a good amount power and money in the organization to drive men to

immerse themselves with. If all the available power and control comes from god, then one can assume that men will be continually

standing at the door waiting to be let in, even if they are forced to change a light bulb that shines upon themselves in the process.

Unfortunate for the WTS. and perhaps a blessing for humanity, the inter-net is here exposing

the corruption of fringe religious cults just like this one.

I also have suspicious instincts that tells me that the WTS. itself is going through a structural reformation

leading toward a religion with many changed adhered to doctrines into the future.

However, the glory days will be far behind, and the religion will never be what it once was. I believe it's only a matter of how long all this will take. It has already started.

Totally agree with that Cedars.

Who would ever thought that the truth via the inter-net would be mostly responsible for bringing down

" The Truth " of the Watchtower Corporation.

Its pretty obvious by now that yes the reduction of the literature being published by the WTS.

is a result of the involving costs related to printing against supposable incoming donations.

30-minute Public Talk = More association ???

it's been nearly 5 years since the letter was read at the end of the service meeting.

the society would lovingly decrease the public talk to a brief 30 minutes, eliminating the 15-minute doom-and-gloom introduction and thereby resulting in lower heating and air-conditioning costs allowing for more "association" after the meeting.... for those who still go to meetings... do you find that there is any more association with the 30-min public talk when compared to the former 45-min public talk?.

More association .. right bullshit to support other bullshit

The big question to be realized is why is the WTS. reducing much of its opertions... less meetings, less time for pioneers, less publications etc. etc.

Has the long standing doctrinal lies and corruption of the past, finally caught up to the WTS. ?

Maybe the WTS and its top directors have moved the organization into a sustainability mode to uphold the support simply now for themselves.

My conclusionSon was high and murdered step mum and father is protecting son. A little like OJ case.

I'd go along with that myself.

Obviously there was much turmoil that evening between Ron and Ronda, which must have been seen and overheard by his

sons. If Ronda did not make previous plans to return to her mother that day and the circumstance of how and where she

had supposedly shot her is just too weird and out of place. Sadly, I don't think that this will ever go to trial again because of the

time that has expired and most of the physical evidence has since been destroyed.

Oh those JWS they are a messed up lot aren't they ?

Thinking about disassociating yourself - STOP!...at least for a moment

(this recent forum post about a letter of disassociation encouraged me to post this new topic.

it's been sitting in my drafts folder for a little while, but now is as good a time as any.).

my suggestion would be, try not to go down the route of disassociation.

We're all human Rory , susceptible to be lured into things sometimes, not completely and fully realizing all of the implications for are selfs

as well toward others.

A Scott77, he wasn't a professional marriage counselor, he just an elder in a congregation, when Ronda and her then husband

were going through difficulties. This was when apparently they started to be attracted to one another.

JW related murder case in WA state.

this one has been under investigation for a number of years.

today an inquest jury ruled that what had previously been determined to be a suicide was in fact a murder.

they named the woman's ex husband as a suspect.

She probably wasn't a cop when she became a JWS, as the story goes she left under pertaining problems .

She might have got involved with the organization when she met her first husband who was likely a JWS.

Just guessing here though

Faith In Action DVD... A tribute to Freemasons

very few people actually know this but the watchtower dvd faith in action is actually a tribute to freemasonry.

this dvd presents illustrations of several famous freemasons such as john coustos (a portuguese grand master from lisbon circa 1740).

the dvd actually presents two illustrations of coustos being tortured by the clergy while the anonymous narrator denounces historic abuse from the clergy.

Add in the fact that Russell gave many of his public speeches in Masonic Halls.

Add in the fact that there were two prominent Freemason symbols used on the top front cover of Zion's Watchtower magazines,

the crown and cross on the left and the knights templur symbol on the right.

Add in the fact that Russell was a staunch supporter of pyramidology, right up to his death, which is still held up by the IBSA

in existence today and that group/organization have always had a close association with the Freemasons.

Makes one wonder doesn't it ?

Ummm ? ?

Well at least I'm not alone in thinking this some unusual stuff for your typical run of the mill JWS.

A wife who's a cop. I'm guessing she was introduced to the JWS by Ronda's first husband, after she left the police force .

A supposed elder who's got such a damaged and dark past, with his family and wifes.

One positive note, is that this TV exposure will alert people who have JWS come to their front door on a Saturday morning.
