  Isn't it getting quite obvious that 1914 was a theological scam that wasn't even supported in the bible if one were pay close attention to Jesus own words " Of The Time " ?
  

  Perhaps hyped with emotions and expectations but really was an act of apostasy from a biblical perspective.
  

  The WTS heads took it as if you believe it then you could be useful to them in expanding the organization with them on top controlling everything, including the incoming money.

  The WTS leaders made their own doctrinal problem, when they firmly proclaimed that the generation who witnessed the events of 1914 would not pass away.

  Well they all did .

  So from all that been seen by the JWS , Jehovah exclusively picked sinning apostate charlatans as his earthly chosen anointed ones.

  Over 100 years after 1914 a bit controversial it would seem .

  there are many....i just couldn't get my head around.. these are a few.. 1. this blood thirsty god that had no problem killing/genociding men women, children and even their farm animals to made a point.

  Answer = because Yahweh is a mythological invention inherently from "men" a lone.

  Men envisioned and composed their god(s) to the way they wanted and appealed to their understanding of occurring events on earth, as well to create a desirable relationship with these/their envisioned god(s).

  Mind you humanity in ancient times didn't have the informational background knowledge of how and why things occurred to themselves or what they visual saw and witnessed.

  Those men witnessed enduring perilous things in their living experience, including their own eventual and foreseeable death, so (their) gods were a consoling and appealing answer for help, since in the acceptance and understanding the gods were actively controlling what was happening to them..

  One thing I noticed in regards to the forum is that it has gotten more radically volatile in discussing non JWS topics such as politics and there is more of it too possibly due to the rehashing over relevant JWS subject matters.
  

  I've been on this forum for over 16 years with a previous ID name and I've seen the forum evolve over the years.

  In some ways I wish it would go back to the way it was previously where congenial respect was more enforced, present and regulated.

  When you really think about it JWS are indoctrinated to worship the Watchtower Publishing Corporation and everything it states, teaches and proclaims, irregardless of contrary scriptural or even secular support.
  

  In terms of sociological, theological and perhaps psychological what could possibly go wrong with that working associated agenda toward following devoted adherents ?

  A whole lot in my opinion.

  Commercialization and religious teachings should never be mixed or supported from one another, that combination is sure to always result in a folly of corruption and harm.

  I’m Seeing Some Trump Fatigue Out There

  i’ve heard from a few trump voters that they are getting tired of the whole trump thing.

  one person yesterday said he lies.

  another person said she hears from her clients in her business that the constant drama and push back from all sides against trump is fatiguing.. i remind people that before this worldwide pandemic, we had the best numbers in jobs.

  If only Trump hired people who were as smart and experienced as himself in federal politics he wouldn't have had to fire all those people .

  Is Anyone Happy That Police Forces Are Being Abolished or scut??

  in minneapolis, the city council has voted to abolish the police.. many cities want to either disband or defund the police.

  black lives matter and other groups have influenced citizens and neighborhoods to get rid of police and their authority.

  is anyone really supportive of removing the police or cutting out law enforcement through the budget?

  Seems a bit short sighted and nonsensical, some crimes need professionally trained individuals to carry out the fulfillment of law and justice in a fair and equal manner.
  

  What about serious crimes such as murder, rape, pedophilia, the list goes on, is Minneapolis going to hire outside the city or county ?

  Brothers and sisters wouldn't be beneficial in the eyes of Jehovah to use your credit cards to give to his life saving work rather than spending it on worldly pleasures such as food, clothing, shelter and travel ?

  Wouldn't you rather see the GB heads and their wives live in a comfortable living condition, such as a swimming pool and tennis courts, vehicles to drive and all pertaining health costs as they age ?
  

  These things do cost money brothers and sisters, so offering your financial help and support would be greatly appreciated and would show your personal devotion to witnessing work as described within the bible..

  I remember they said this in 2016, up until election night.

  But keep in mind that was before the nation has experienced Trump as a acting President.
  

  If these recent polls are correct, you should see the Democrats win in November, (Presidency, Congress and the Senate) and not particularly by a huge landslide.
