  my whole life, even when i pioneered, i dreaded field service.

  i was always uncomfertable rolling up to peoples houses uninvited.

  so i used to have this technique where i would pretend to ring the bell.

  I used to laugh at the pioneers who would spend so much time at one door talking to each other when no one was there. I was the type that actually wanted to preach to the people as I was convinced I had "The Truth"

  i was 38 years in left 7 years i find myself still in the mindset sometimes maybe becouse wife and some family are still in but can you ever fully ''check out and leave"

  I still refer to them as 'brothers' 'sisters', but I've only been out by a few months, so time will tell.

  Do Jehovah's Witnesses LOVE their enemies?

  jesus' message differs from every other religious leader of his day in that he encouraged his followers to love their enemy.. are jw's encouraged to love their enemies?.

  they aren't allowed to even pray for disfellowshipped former brethern although they are stray sheep.

  you'll recall jesus said that a fine shepherd would even leave the 99 sheep to go after and return with the "stray".. how do jw's love their enemies?.

  let's perform a "thought experiment".

  imagine walking in to a series of jazz nightclubs in the 1950's and hearing various soloists and trios performing their variations on the same tune.. if a famous orchestra, trio or band becomes popular other groups try to emulate them.

  musicians at the top try to best one another in a "battle of the bands.".
