Artificial Blood Found to Raise Risk of Death--News Article 4/29/08
by AndersonsInfo inhttp://www.thestar.com/article/419393artificial blood found to raise risk of death april 29, 2008 noor javed.
staff reporter.
blood substitutes significantly increase the chances of heart attacks and death in patients, yet canadian and u.s. regulators gave the green light to testing on humans, says a paper published yesterday.. a review of all published literature on human blood-substitute trials in the journal of the american medical association found that people who received hemoglobin-based blood substitutes during a trial had a 30 per cent greater chance of death, and were three times more likely to suffer a heart attack.. "i became extremely concerned by the consistent pattern of increased risk that patients were being placed in," said dr. charles natanson of the national institutes of health, who led the review.

Has the mass exodus begun?
by kool aid man06 init's truly exciting to see all of the "rapid fire" changes taking place in the watchtower org.
buildings are being sold, kingdomhalls are "compressing", bethelites are being sent home, watchtower format changing to public issues and private issues, more and more judicial committee meetings being held for apostasy.
(the watchtower is dead it just hasn't fallen over yet!

It is a mass exodus in the English language congregations in the U.S. A lot of Mexican JWs have been migrating into the U.S. or else the percent of decline would probably be about 3 to 5% a year. Also the so-called growth figure is suspect. I hear they've counted a lot of inactives and will keep doing so a few more years hoping that growth in Africa and Brazil will continue, though the internet there is also starting to slow them there too.

The hidden Watchtower writers.
by edmond dantes inthe watchtower smoke and mirrors dept.
are very fond of saying that appostates who post on the internet are like satan in eden hiding their identity just like the devil who used the serpent.. this begs the question why do the awake and watchtower writers need to hide behind the printing presses of the evil tower, what are they ashamed of or more to the point what is the govening body frightened of ?.
maybe the book club and rip off society are guilty of identity theft in not declaring the names of their writers..

They had to count inactives this time in order to post a positive growth. That trick will keep them looking as if growing for several more years, but if they don't do major reforms then it's over with. They would have to dump the blood-letting death doctrine, stop sending pedophiles along with innocent JWs in preaching, emphasize informal witnessing lots more. The other Governing Body members are too chicken of Ted Jaracz to boot him out and get the reforms done.

How many will bother going to the bookstudy between now and January?
by DT inif i were still in, i would find it hard to be excited about going to the book study now that i know it is doomed.
the revelation book has already been hashed to death.
the silly five finger death grip illustration doesn't apply any more.

The Book Study is being swifted to another day; not eliminated.
